I need to do a grocery run. I am out of spinach, and almond milk, which are two essential ingredients to my morning monsters. I am in a place right now where I want to use what I have before I go out and get more. In my fridge I had a bunch of fruits, so I made a fruit smoothie! Shaking things up a bit!
I added a banana, strawberries, blueberries and some cherries. The cherries were a pain to pit. I need a pitter in my life! I also added some yogurt and ice to the mix.
I blended everything for a bit and remembered that I didn’t add my seeds! So I added chia seeds, flax seeds and wheat berries. I also added some Amazing Grass Green Superfood in Berry. It gave my smoothie an extra one-two punch. I love that this Amazing Grass packet is infused with Acai and Goji berries. Yum!
It was way pinker before I added the superfood. Then it turned way darker, hence the purple people eater heading! I apparently made WAY too much too. Luckily boyf decided to try out my creation and he liked it. I didn’t tell him I added the Amazing Grass until after he was done. I think he liked it mainly because it wasn’t green.
Yum Yum! I liked it a lot, and I also enjoy the fact that I am using up my fruits in the fridge before they go bad. It was a nice change of pace, but I do miss my green monsters. I may venture out and get some spinach later. Maybe I can find a Farmer’s Market in the area or something. I need to do some more exploring!

Oh no! This reminds me that I forgot to buy almond milk for my Amazing Grass smoothies. Darn.
