No matter how you say it, Philadelphia has been HIT with snow…and LOTS of it! And it’s still coming down, pretty hard. When I woke up this morning I went bounding out of bed to see if the rumors were true. When I went to bed last night the snow was falling, but nothing was sticking to the ground.
I was excited to see that the predictions had become a reality and we our area is covered in lots of the white fluffy stuff. Jackson and I decided we had to go outside and check it out ourselves.
It really is a winter wonderland outside. LOTS of snow!
The news just reported that Philadelphia had about 18 inches and counting. Its 9 o’clock in the morning now and they are reporting the conditions are getting worse and won’t be stopping until 2:00 pm!
Last time we had a good amount of snow was back in December before Christmas. I feel like we doubled that amount this time! Jackson really didn’t know what to make of the mass amount of snow outside this morning.
Let’s get a close-up of that snow covered face, shall we?
Our little pathway outside for the dogs had been shoveled a few times, but then just covered up again with snow.
Jackson didn’t want to go much farther than a few feet away from the door! I bet he thought he was going to disappear into the snow!
He didn’t know what to make of it all, and when we were out there it was still coming down hard!
Jackson was struggling to get through it.
He did manage to find a place to pee.
BEWARE OF YELLOW SNOW!
After a few minutes, Jackson decided it was time to go back inside, he had had enough!
A few pictures of the snow from the comfort of out apartment.
The bottom half of this picture is the inside of the window in our bedroom (you can see the big picture of our bedroom here). The snow is up past our window! Yikes!
I believe we will be spending the rest of the day inside.
I love snow days, but I enjoy them more when they happen during the weekend when I have nothing to do. It’s so much easier to deal with when you can stay inside all day!
Is it snowing where you are?

i am slightly obsessed with all the snow. it looks so wonderful. i kind of can't even handle it.
In St. Louis we had a bunch of rain, and about 1 inch of snow. Today is sunny and the snow is gone. I should not say this but I will take a chance, this winter we have not had that much snow, it has been cold but not much snow. Your blog got a shoot out on InPerspires blog http://inperspire.blogspot.com.
I can not believe how much snow you have had.
Jackson is just too cute. He is very smart wanting to stay inside where it is nice and warm.
I live in the Cayman Islands (Caribbean) it was about 85 degrees today!
I managed to escape Maryland to California and get away from 30-plus inches. I'm glad, but feeling guilty b/c hubby is still there! I have a pic from him up on my site, fyi.

Well it rarely snows here in Texas so unfortunately not a single flake here, being snowed in this weekend looks so cozy and fun!
