After BFF Michele’s Bridal Shower, a few of us went to out for dinner and drinks. Michelle suggested this new place she had been to a few times and LOVED – Clare and Don’s Beach Shack
Side Note: Yes there are 2 Michel(l)e’s! Michele (with one L) is the bride to be. Michelle (with 2 L’s) is my blonde, Britney lovin’ friend.
Back to the restaurant – So Clare and Don’s is a super cute beach shack. It has an awesome outside section where live music entertains the crowds.
There is an outdoor bar too. This would be an awesome place to hang out in the summer. It was a little chilly Saturday night, but some people were braving the cold outdoors. I totally want to come back here this summer and enjoy a nice evening outside.
The inside is decorated from floor to ceiling in flip flops which have been decorated. Such a cool concept for decoration.
The menu’s were on newspapers.
Michelle and her BF Scott were there enjoying drinks with me. Aren’t they such a cute couple??
This place made me wish I was lying on the beach in the hot summer sun. Summertime is soon approaching!
It was so fun to spend some quality time with my girlfriends during this trip home. I don’t get to see them nearly enough as I would like, so it was nice to have a few days to catch up!
Check out our cute matching headbands. Can you see them? They are sparkly, just like we like it!
Michelle, Scott and I enjoyed some drinks while we waited for our table and for the other Michele to join us.
I love when a restaurant gives out different plates that don’t match.
Michelle said one of the favorite things on the menu were the fried pickles. She ordered some for the table and I knew I had to try one of these out for myself.
I am not a fan of fried foods. I don’t really enjoy things that are fried and I try to stay away from things like that whenever possible, but this little pickle had to be eaten!
It was good, but I wouldn’t recommend eating a whole plate of them!
For dinner the bride and I split crab cakes. They were yummy and came with brown rice and vegetables.
Michelle had the fish tacos, which she raved out. I tried them and they were pretty rocking. I would probably get them next time! I had never had fish tacos before but these were yum-tastic!
It was fun to recap the bridal shower with Michele over dinner!
After dinner we went back to Michelle’s house for some more drinks and chit chat. It was an awesome evening. It was so fun to see my girls. I can’t wait to see them again next weekend for our big engagement party!
