Tonight we spent the evening visiting the little chapel that Michele and Eric will marry in tomorrow afternoon!
This is my first time being in a wedding, or attending a wedding rehearsal so this is all new to me! It was fun to walk through how the wedding will go tomorrow. Everything went very smoothly and I am sure it will be a beautiful ceremony tomorrow!
Michele used her bow bouquet that I made for her at her shower as her bouquet for walking down the aisle today!
I was in charge of something very important during the rehearsal –
better not loose this bad boy!
After the wedding walk through we headed over for dinner at Brion’s Grill. Michele went to school at George Mason University so Brion’s Grill was a popular hang out spot during her time at school.
She even has a picture hanging on the wall there!
She was on the lacrosse team and obviously dominated. She looks fierce in this picture! Go Girl!
When everyone arrived at the restaurant, it was time for the bride and groom to say a few words. They thanked everyone for coming and for everyone’s support.
Then it was time for presents! Michele and Eric gave their parents presents and also gifts to those in the wedding party.
Part of Michele’s gift to her ladies in the bridal party was that she wrote each of us poems. It was such a nice gesture and so fun and sweet too! I love mine!
Bride and groom love at the table.
Then it was time to eat!
I chose the chicken marinara which included grilled chicken over angel hair pasta.
It was a nice meal after my run this morning!
Then it was time for dessert!
Michele made this amazing groom’s cake for Eric! He is a Steeler’s fan (obviously) so it was a great cake for him!
She did an awesome job! It turned out amazing! I was very impressed!
It was vanilla cake filled with peanut butter mouse and chocolate icing! Yummers!
I am off to get my beauty sleep for Michele’s Big Day tomorrow! Hair and make-up bright and early tomorrow a.m.!

Michele did a great job making that cake. Even though I'm NOT a Steelers fan. (Go Patriots!)
Have fun at the wedding! Only 1 mont til my boyfriend's brother gets married and I'm getting really psyched.
Good Job Michele on that cake! Looks very official!
Leslie, good getting practice for your Big Day!
