My little boy is 4 years old today! Time has sure flown by at warp speed. It feels like just yesterday that fiancé and I were bringing Jackson home from the breeder, a little unsure and a lot in love with the puppy in the backseat.
This picture is from his first car ride when we took him home. He sat in the backseat and look at us as if he was to say, “Who the hell are you people and where are you taking me?”
I wanted to share a few pictures and do a little walk down memory lane with my readers today. If you are a longtime reader of the blog some of these pictures and stories may be familiar, but I wanted to share them again for everyone!
It was pretty much love at first sight for me. Fiancé and I went to look at Jackson and I knew I would be taking him home with me.
Fiancé and Jackson got alone pretty well too. They both are from New Jersey so they bonded over their roots!
Jackson was so small when we took him home. I know he is only 12 pounds now, fully grown, but when we first took him home he was only 5 pounds or so. I felt like I was always afraid of stepping on him!
When I first got him, I worked at an office that occasionally let me bring Jackson into work with me. He sat at my desk and just slept and watched me type all day. It was heaven having him with me all day! I know he enjoyed it too!
Jackson was so small as a puppy, he fit into my sweatshirt! I always wanted to take him with me wherever I went, and I did whenever I could! The only place I have ever taken him where we got kicked out of was IKEA! Haha, Jackson and I live dangerously!
Side Note – Any Tridelta sorority sister bloggers or readers out there??
Jackson is ALWAYS up for puppy play time, but he also knows how to nap like a champ!
The little prince on his pillow. I love his little white paw!
Jackson used to FREAK OUT when I would shower. He would whimper and cry, I guess he would think I left him. It was very sweet.
I love this picture of Jackson. He was such a little fur ball! Check out that white paw!
Love my Jersey boys!
Jackson & Fiance’s shoe
We have travelled all over together, he is my faithful little sidekick!
We have had so much fun together the past 4 years. I can’t imagine my life without him. I look forward to coming home to him everyday, I can always count on him to make me smile!
I look forward to many more tail wags, puppy kisses and naps together.
There truly is nothing else like real puppy love!
Happy 4th Birthday Jackson!
