Most nights I try to cook dinner for fiancé so when he comes home or soon after he gets home he has a nice meal waiting for him after a long day. I am a wife in training!
Sometimes he comes home and I have created a feast for him and other days I have thrown something quick and easy together and still other days I have got nothing for him! It’s a guessing game what he will come home to every night – whether he will be fed a feast or not at all!
Whenever I go to the grocery store I always try to get a few things that I can make easily in a pinch.
Enter Romano’s Macaroni Grill frozen entrées.
I was recently sent a sample of Romano’s Macaroni Grill frozen entrée from MyBlogSpark to try out. I got to try out the new Basil Parmesan Chicken complete meal for 2.
I am not the biggest fan or frozen meals, but I think they are ok every once in a while. Everything in moderation, right?!
This frozen meal consisted of grilled white meat chicken, broccoli florets and tomatoes with cavatappi pasta tossed in a creamy basil parmesan sauce. All I had to do was to add a little bit of milk and then cook while stirring for 15 minutes until the vegetables were cooked and the pasta was tender.
One thing I do enjoy about frozen meals like this is that you can control some aspects of your meal. I was able to choose the milk I used and I also added a few extra fresh vegetables to the mix!
While the vegetables cooked the packaged called to cover the pan being used. Clearly I need to add a big saucepan with a lid on our wedding registry ASAP!
I also chopped up a little French bread to go with our feast.
After 15 short minutes our meal was complete!
His & Hers pasta bowls.
I added a handful of edamame to this meal and I love the pop of green in the pasta.
French bread + pasta & veggies = awesome

Pasta is necessary for Marathon training.
Fiancé enjoyed our meal with a lovely glass of vino.

oooh! Easy and free food? Sign me up!
Being an Italian gal, I love me some Macaroni Grill and love love love pasta…a nice big bowl and some tongs would be perfect when serving up some spaghetti and meatballs (or my fav Macaroni Grill meal)
This meal looks great! It's easy and simple to make plus it's pasta. You can't go wrong with that! 🙂
Perfect for a busy night!
I'm with ya, sometimes you need something handy to throw together for dinner on a busy night!
I love the pop of green that you added. I like to add spinach to mine. Looks delicious!
Love that serving piece.
Yes please! Love the wooden tools!
So funny, I have that same Ikea frying pan and the same wok I think. It came with a really flimsy tin lid that got smashed 2 seconds after opening it. Your dinner looked yummy- my hubby loooves pasta so I may have to keep some frozen meals on hand for when I'm out of town
Yum!
I've passed these in the frozen section a few times now and have been tempted to give them a try. I also like to try and make dinner for my fiancé, but I agree – some nights it's just too much work with running, school and work! This would defintely be a nice alternative on one of those extra busy nights 🙂
I love quick meals like this on nights hubby and I have to both work late!
I would love to try Macaroni Grill!
Oh I love Macaroni Grill, despite how unhealthy some of their dishes can be (you'd sometimes think that they've never heard of veggies!). I'd love to try out this frozen meal, though!
I use another pan as a lid too. I guess it works because your dinner looked great!
I live with a houseful of pasta lovers. I'm sure we would enjoy this.

I'd like to try their entrees, especially since I love their restaurants. Cute bowl and serving utensils too 🙂
Oh wow I love the tongs! The food doesn't look bad, either! Would love to win!
yum! gets me thinking, maybe I should cook pasta tonight….
Mmm Macaroni Grill! Cute tongs as well!
Just found your blog very cute! I laughed at the extra pan used as a lid. I used a cookie sheet for a casserole recipe this week..ugh! We so need a lot of items on our registry as well! 🙂
Sounds like something I'd like to try! We're on a budget so winning would be great.
