Last year Jackson went as a Banana and a Dinosaur for Halloween. The year before he want as a spider monster.
This year we had our sights set on a pretty stellar costume for Jackson, but time got away from us and it just didn’t happen, so I think we are saving it for next year (stay tuned!) – but we did manage to pick up another costume for Jackson this Halloween.
I give you Jackson the Turtle.
Part of me wants to get a red bandana and put it around his head to make him a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle, but that might be expecting a little too much from Jackson today.
Dressing him up in costumes for Halloween is not his favorite thing to do, even though its one of mine! So we must compromise.
I don’t know what I think is funnier, dressing a dog up as food or as another animal – both make me giggle!
Depending on how you look at the costume he can either look like a frog, or like the turtle is eating him.
I just think its so fun to dress Jackson up for Halloween!
I also love the little turtle tail on the back.
“Mom stop taking pictures of me, this is embarrassing!”
He liked the ensemble better without the head.
But either way, I think he was over it! At least I got a few pictures of him in his costume.
Do you dress your pet up for Halloween?

Our cat, Fred, would eat my face while I slept if I even thought about dressing him up. But cats are like that…!

My little boy is a turtle "Fear the Turtle"! He couldn't be any more adorable. Happy Halloween to all! Love that Jackson…
Jackson is so cute! Our Aussie Shep was dressed up as a bumble bee. She hated it in the beginning but ended up wearing it for 3 hours while trick or treaters came by
