Last Christmas

Since the glorious week of Christmas is upon us, I wanted to share some of my favorite parts from last Christmas! I love being able to look back at my memories from previous blog posts. It’s also fun to share past favorites with new readers out there!

My favorite treats from last Christmas were definitely chocolate + pretzels = chocolate covered pretzels. Sabrina and I made a bunch at her house, we had a lot of fun making this holiday treat!

I enjoyed making the chocolate covered mini pretzels so much in fact that I made a massive amount of Candy Coated Chocolate Covered pretzel rods to bring over to my family and fiancé’s family’s house for Christmas.

They were nothing short of amazing and a big hit with the families.

I even made a little video of how I made the pretzel rods, one of my few videos appearances on the blog. If you want to check that out, visit here.

Aside from the pretzels being one of my favorite holiday treats, one of my favorite drinks from last Christmas were the infamous Peppermint Martini’s!

If you don’t already have a peppermint martini in your life, you should get one! 🙂

Our Charlie Brown Christmas tree last year was a lot different than our beautiful tree we have now, but it’s still fun to look back on and see how far we have come in terms of Holiday decor!

I know Christmas is more peppermint and chocolate, but I made this amazing Pumpkin Pie Cake last year too. It was amazing. Easy recipe that tasted great. You should put it on your ‘to-make’ list!

Last year Fiancé and I had a very Merry Christmas Eve in New Jersey with his family

And then we had a very Snuggie Christmas in Virginia with my family.

Don’t you and your significant other have matching snuggies? Along with one for your pet? With blue for boys and pink for girls? No? Is that just us?? 🙂

It was lovely to be able to spend the holiday with both our families. We hope to do it again this year, barring any winter weather! (fingers crossed!)

I love being able to relive the memories from my past blog posts. It’s a great way to remember the holidays!

What are some of your favorite memories from Last Christmas? What are you most looking forward to this Christmas?

I love making chocolate dipped pretzel rods. I tend to go a bit overboard with the toppings, but that's half the fun. Love the family Snuggie photo! We got a pet Snuggie for our French bulldog last year– he was noooooot havin' it. That thing lasted about 30 seconds. 🙂

my favorite part of last year's christmas was the moment i saw just how much my family loves my boyfriend, and vice versa. without getting too much into his, his own family kinda bites the big one, and to see just how much he was a part of my family was amazing. i am so excited to spend the holidays with our extended family, because we skipped out on thanksgiving this year and just had it at home. i'm also excited to give steve his big present – a new bike! the pretzels look amazing!

Good luck! It's supposed to snow in Philly on the 25th into the 26th but hopefully it will be after your Christmas eve celebration and before your Christmas day! Safe travels!

I too loved the chocolate pretzel rods! It's so much fun to look back at what you did last year – your tree has changed tremendously –
Loved your recap – safe travels to NJ and VA!
