Chickpea – Palooza

Since today is the first official work day back from all the holiday fun it was the perfect night to enjoy a lovely frozen entree. I am all about making real food and enjoying home cooked meals, but sometimes, I am just not in the mood!

Fiancé told me earlier he would be getting home a little later and had already planned on eating leftovers, so I was free to fend for myself. I was excited for an excuse to bust out this bad boy from the freezer –

Luckily one of my favorite frozen meals is somewhat healthy too!

Any other Trader Joe’s Channa Masala fans out there?

I paired it with a little Naan bread. I love this stuff!

It was pretty much a chickpea-palooza here tonight.

Do you have a favorite go-to frozen meal? What is your favorite meal to throw together when you are feeling lazy/not in the mood/running out of time?

I asked Santa to bring me a Trader Joe's for Christmas, but one never came 🙁
I do love Morningstar Farms Lasagna, though. Their food always tastes so fresh and the calories are just right.
    Really enjoying your blog 🙂

I haven't tried TJ's Channa Masala, but I'm going to pick some up next time I'm there since you gave it a good review! Happy New Year, Leslie!! We have to hang soon!

Not a chick pea fan, but love the Nan bread. It's yummy toasted with jam on it. I guess my favorite lazy meal is frozen taquitos, they turn out pretty good and you can add simple sides.

I've seen that before and wondered if it was any good… Glad you liked it! If you're up for a challenge, try Orangette's recipe on her blog. It's fantastic.

I'm not really into chick peas, but Naan=YUM!
