Before the grand finale of our honeymoon travels, we made one last quick stop in Crete. Heralkoin is the capital and largest city in Crete and also where we docked.
Our stop here was super short – about 3 hours – just enough to take a short walk around the city, check out an old fortress, grab a cup of coffee and then make our way back to the ship – which is exactly what we ended up doing.
We made our way towards the Venetian Fortress
The Venetian Fortress sits in the harbor and is one of the most well known images of Crete.
We did a little walk around the fortress and took it all in.
We continued our walk and ended up at the Church of St Titus
And then stopped in a cafe to take in the sights.
A cafe freddo for me and an espresso for him.
And then we headed back to the ship – we were so excited to set sail for our next and final destination.
Any guesses on where we were headed?
Here are just a few pictures from afar of our next and final stop on our honeymoon travels.
Loving the white houses on the top of the hills.
Our excitement to get to this final destination could not be contained! Stay tuned for the final chapter of our honeymoon posts in the last location of our travels!

Santorini for sure! Crete looked like a cute little place, loved the animal in the rock. Can’t wait to see your next post.
