I have a new favorite
Behold the avocado!
Aside from the fact that creamy avocado pasta is my new favorite clean meal to eat, today I enjoyed avocado in a whole new light.
No muss, no fuss. Just plain avocado, sliced in half, with the pit taken out. Before my journey on the 40 days program started, the only way I would really enjoy avocado would be in guacamole, with chips, and a margarita!
This sort of freaked me out at first but by the end of the day I was starting to feel a little lightheaded and in a haze, I knew I needed to eat something with a little kick to it. When I got home from work I was able to enjoy a single avocado, with a touch of sea salt as the highlight of my dinner. And it was actually pretty amazing. I have a new found love for this amazing little fruit. And after I ate it, you wouldn’t believe the energy surge I had – I was dragging all afternoon and after I ate this, I felt fantastic! I event went out for a 75 minute yoga class, thats how awesome I felt.
I owe my lovely evening to the avocado! This fruit cleanse is starting out very nicely!
