This weekend I hit up a new spot in Chestnut Hill with Charles, my brother and his girlfriend. We went to Iron Hill Brewery for the first time and had a lovely lunch.
I have never been to Iron Hill before, but I have heard such good things about both the food and the drink selection!
Iron Hill is home to 5 House Beers and a very wide variety of seasonal selections as well. They do their brewing on site.
The restaurant itself is absolutely gorgeous. High ceilings, large windows, beautiful decor.
They also have 3 size selections – I went with the smallest to start out with, which is 10 oz. I wanted to be able to sample more than one to see what Iron Hill was all about!
I started out with their seasonal Oompa Loompa Chocolate Stout on tap – it was very smooth and tasted like a chocolate milkshake. Delish!
Charles enjoyed the Irish Red. We were both super impressed with the beers.
After we had our beers in hand, it was time to pick what we wanted to eat!
The group wanted to start out with the Thai Popcorn Chicken.
It came with a pea shoot and bean sprout salad, roasted peanuts, sweet & spicy sauce and cilantro. It had a bit of a kick to it and was very tasty!
For lunch I enjoyed the Fajita Spiced Chicken Salad.
Shredded romaine & iceberg, avocado, jalapeño, Monterey jack, crispy tortilla strips and chipotle ranch dressing (on the side). It was the perfect meal for lunch – and the dressing packed a major punch!
Thanks for an awesome lunch Iron Hill Brewery! Your beers were delicious, your food was tasty – we will be back for more!

Love Iron Hill! If you go a lot join the Mug Club you get a larger beer for the lower price and points towards free food!
I love Iron Hill! I’ve been to the one in North Wales and West Chester. Their raspberry wheat beer is delicious 🙂
