1,357 photos, 19 people, 11 days, 3 cities, 1 wedding, 1 Great Wonder and 1 amazing once in a lifetime trip!
We are back from China & what a trip it was! There is so much to share it’s going to be hard to pack all that fun on this tiny little blog, but I will try! There’s no better place to start than the begin than the beginning so let’s start there, shall we?
We started our journey in Shanghai and the thing I loved most about the city is the skyline. Seriously, it is incredible.
It was a great way to start out our first evening in Shanghai
Seriously the skyline is just amazing. We lucked out & had great weather with clear skies for perfect viewing across the water. I loved seeing the lights reflecting across the river.
During our first full day in Shanghai we started off the morning checking out the inside of the Oriental Pearl Radio & TV Tower.
The inside of the middle pearl of the tower is a sightseeing floor offering 360* views of the city. Another clear day provided great shots of really how HUGE the city actually is!
Fun Fact: Shanghai is the largest city by population in China (23 million!)
It is an overwhelming city, the big buildings and high-rises are booming around every corner.
The city literally keeps going & going & going…
There is even a skywalk located in the top sightseeing level, located 300 meters off the ground. I wasn’t brave enough to go walk out on the glass but Charles was nice enough to take a photo to share the experience.
Charles even created a video of him “jumping” off the Tower – Check it out!
I am just getting started with our China trip recap – Stay tuned for more updates on our travels.

Hi, I just found your blog and wanted to say hello since I am also from Philly and I just recently started a blog of my own! China looks great excited to see more!
I love all the photos! I think it would be amazing to be able to visit China someday. The picture of the skywalk is terrifying…I would not be comfortable being out there either.
Wow – Great Photos and Charles is truly brave to take that photo for you! Waiting for more!
