get your green (monster) on

Green Monsters are officially back on the blog!

I must admit, I have been lacking a bit in the fruits and vegetables department in my diet lately. I decided it was time to get back on track  and the best way for me to do just that is to start my day with a green monster. I find when I start my morning off in the right direction, its so much easier for the rest of the day to follow suit.

Here is my green monster breakdown from today – this is my original recipe:

A few handfuls of bright green baby spinach

A healthy pour of almond milk – I use unsweetened original.

1 banana

1 scoop of protein powder – I use chocolate Amazing Grass (YUM!)

Top it all with a handful or two of ice to give it a good chill

And you are good to blend away!

I always enjoy my green monster creations in a mason jar with a fun straw because lets be honest, everything is better in a mason jar with a fun straw!

Paired with a sweet view and its the best possible way to start your morning!

    I love greek yogurt with oatmeal and flax seeds mixed in. I need to be brave and try your green monster one day – the color green just scares me, and I love spinach!
