This weekend, on our way to the Philadelphia Flower Show, my parents, Charles & myself stopped for lunch at a new spot in Philadelphia – The Corner Foodery.
The Corner Foodery just opened a few weeks ago, I was excited to have the chance to check it out this new spot in Center City for myself. Word on the street is the restaurant features 600+ beers and ciders by the bottle, artisan sandwiches, charcuterie, and small plates.
Let’s be honest…the Foodery had me at 600+ beers!
Living in Philadelphia, the liquor laws are a little different than other states – the main places to pick up beer & wine are in state stores, where we can only get beers by the case. This is no fun for a beer lover that loves to test our new brews, without spending $$ on a whole case! So finding a place with lots of great beer options {by the bottle!} makes trying out some new beers much more fun!
Charles & my dad were just as excited to test out a few new beers.
There were so many to choose from, we didn’t know where to start!
But we ended up picking out 3 to share for our table.
Cheers!
Random Fun Fact: In the middle of the seating area, there are 3 different water options for guests to help themselves – Cold, Sparkling & Still water – I loved this so much! Sparkling water is my favorite!
After we picked out our beers, it was time to pick out lunch!
We started out with a meat, cheese & bread spread to munch on with our brews.
We got the Nona: genoa, sopresatta, mortadella & mozzarella
and the Meatball Grinder {which came highly recommended} to share! All the food was very tasty!
All in all, lunch was awesome & the beers were tasty! I can’t wait to go back again soon!
