Finding My Bliss

Neuro Bliss and the Art Museum

Lately life has been so crazy it’s been tough to find time to stop and catch my breath. I think that’s part of the reason why I wasn’t feeling so great last week. It’s funny how during pregnancy it’s even more important to listen to your body & take time to yourself, even if it’s just a few moments each and every day.

Art Museum Neuro Bliss

It was the perfect time for me to have this reality check to take time to chill as I recently had the opportunity to work with neuro BLISS as they launch their stress reduction movement with their new BLISS and Tell campaign –  which encourages people to take time to relax and share their blissful moments. By partnering with this campaign I was sent some neuro BLISS to try out for myself – it’s a lightly carbonated tropical citrus lychee flavored drink designed to reduce stress and relax the mind. With only 35 calories per bottle and no artificial colors or flavor it’s a tasty little treat!

A little more about the BLISS and Tell campaign – Neuro drinks recently conducted a study that surveyed more than 1,200 consumers. The findings revealed that:

  • Nearly 50 percent of Americans spend at least half their daily lives stressed out.
  • The cure for stress varies, with 89 percent agreeing that a night out on the town does little for stress relief.
  • More than half admit a vacation is what they need the most, while a quarter of the respondents say personal time would help treat the stress.

For me, I have been working on spending more time each day finding my bliss – I find that taking  long walks with Jackson or just relaxing on the couch with the TV off, Pandora turned on & a stack of magazines does the trick. It’s so crazy to think how something so small as taking 15 minutes to get some fresh air or clear your mind can be too much to ask for on a busy day – but it’s important to make time for the little things that make you smile.

Plus, Jackson enjoys the extra love for sure!

I’ve read from multiple sources that this product is not safe for pregnant women or nursing mothers. Can you provide input? I read the warning directly on the label.

Hey Cara, I asked my DR about it and she said it was ok to have a little – and that’s really all I had.
