Yesterday I had the pleasure of attending a dear friend’s wedding! Kate is an old roommate of mine from when I lived in Conshohocken – we lived there with another friend, Jill and it’s awesome to say that as of yesterday, the three of us have each attended the other’s wedding!
Jill & AJ got married a year before Charles & I did – their wedding was a ton of fun! Kate & Jill were both at our wedding and last night all three of us were together again to celebrate Kate & Tim!
I wore a dress I’ve had for a while because it was tough finding something in my closet that was comfortable. I also wore it to the last wedding we attended – in China! This dress is from target – it was very comfortable and {i think} flattering to my growing bump.
Kate + Tim got married in the gorgeous St. Peter’s Church in Headhouse Square. It was a really cool church with awesome pew-boxes.
The bride & groom were glowing on their special day.
Check out how adorable the flowergirl & ring bearer were – I love the yellow dress & tie!
The reception was held a few blocks away at Society Hill Dance Academy – it’s also where Charles & I took dance lessons before our wedding, so we were very familiar with the space but were excited to see it set up for a wedding!
Check out the awesome guest book – the couple thanked everyone for helping them set up roots in Philadelphia and guests were asked to “leaf” their signature for the new Mr. & Mrs. I love this & it’s going to look so amazing hanging in their home.
Another awesome detail were the table numbers! On the programs at the church there were 12 sets of math problems, each of which would later indicate which table number we were to be seated at. Some were seriously harder than others, but I love this little activity – the bride is a math teacher & the groom loves numbers so there were lots of references of this mutual fondness throughout the evening.
Wedding cake = one of my favorite things about weddings. Yum!
And some more photos from the evening:
All in all it was an awesome evening – and baby’s first wedding! I’m so happy for Kate & Tim and wish them a lifetime of happiness!
