Another great weekend in the books! We {and by we I mean Charles} painted the nursery, ate really tasty burgers, fries & chocolate milk shakes and I had my second round of my maternity photo shoot with Tina of chase & ella – this time complete with hair & make-up and a special outfit! I got a little sneak peak of some of the photos and I am obsessed with them – I can’t wait to share them with you – hopefully later this week, so stay tuned!
Today I wanted to share with you another tasty treat I made a few weeks ago for Charles’ 30th Birthday celebration. These tasty treats were one of the first thing to completely go from our food table, I may or may not have been responsible for eating half of them – I blame the belly.
I saw this recipe a while back when I was searching all over Pinterest for Fall food inspiration – and nothing screams fall to me like goat cheese, cranberry chutney and toasted walnut! Yum! I mentioned before I had a few vegetarian friends that came to the party so I wanted to have a few meat free options on the menu. This was one of them, and it was a very tasty treat!
OMG these bad boys were so good. I would have eaten them all if I could, but I figured I should save a few for my guests. My friend Michelle helped me out with these & she added a little extra bit of the pastry to the top of each envelope which I sort of love. Just the combination of goat cheese, cranberry & walnut makes me very happy – they are seriously three of my favorite things!
These puff pastries were easy to make, easy for everyone to enjoy and full of flavor – if you are looking for something to make to bring to a holiday party, I would definitely add these to your list! They were a hit!

What’s the best appetizer you’ve ever made & brought to a party?
