Mrs. T’s Pierogies

Mrs Ts Pierogies

I have shared with you my love for Mrs. T’s Pierogies before on the blog & I am back to share my love for them some more! I am part Polish, on my father’s side, so I have grown up enjoying pierogies every summer at my grandma’s house. They remind me of the Polish Fair & summer nights up in Northeastern Pennsylvania. I am excited to say that I have found that these awesome pierogies totally calm my cravings, now that I don’t get them homemade from my grandmother, as she is no longer with us. It is fun to enjoy food that invoke memories of loved ones – pierogies totally do that for me & memories of my grandma.

Since we have our little man on the way soon, I have been on a mission to stock up our fridge & pantry with good food that will last & be easy to make meals with once we are settled at home with a newborn. As much as I love to cook, I don’t know how much time I will be spending in the kitchen the first few weeks back from the hospital so it’s nice to know I have these tasty pierogies in my freezer! Not only are they tasty & delicious {the sweet potato pierogies are my favorite!} they are so quick and easy to make – you can boil, sauté, deep fry, grill or bake – and they are ready in minutes. Plus, each box makes a TON! We like to boil them & it’s so easy to throw a bunch in the boiling water and a few minutes later they are ready to serve!

These bad boys are also great to have on hand when you are having friends over – for game night, the premier of your favorite show, or to watch the big game – and I’m sure the first few weeks we will have tons of people coming over to visit the new babe, so it’s always good to have some extra food on hand! Aside from tasting really amazing and coming in 11 different flavor combinations – including whole grain and mini-size, Mrs. T’s pierogies make great finger foods, side dishes and main dishes too. Like I said, I always try to keep a box or two in my freezer as they are a quick and easy meal to make anytime.

I was really surprised how much I liked these too when I picked them up randomly one night.

Definitely have some easy to make meals ready for when baby arrives. We’ve managed to eat well and healthy still (for the most part) but there is definitely less time left to cook. It is getting easier each day though.

I love these too! They were one of the first lunches I was allowed to make for my sisters when we were home for the summer. I haven’t seen the sweet potato ones yet, but will be keeping my eyes peeled!
