When my mom was up in Philadelphia helping us with Brooks for a few weeks she said she wanted to get me something special to celebrate the birth of my son, her first grandchild and to commemorate that fateful day {or days, in my case} that I was in labor. We looked at a few different options together and decided on this beautiful necklace, that I am so completely in love with – it arrived in the mail the other day and I couldn’t wait to share it with you on the blog!
It’s Brooks’ birthday in roman numerals, and I may never, ever take it off.
We found it on etsy and it’s such a beautiful piece of jewelry, I couldn’t be happier.
It goes perfectly with the love ring that Charles surprised me with in the hospital, which I am equally obsessed with.
I know my baby is the best present I could ever ask for, but I think a push present is an awesome extra little treat for any new mom, especially after 9 months of pregnancy & labor!

I love everything about those – they are both beautiful, as is the sentiment. I just don’t care for the term “push present”, but it’s lovely that your mom and husband wanted to give you something at this time.
I need this necklace! What shop did you offer from??
Amanda – Make Pie Not War on etsy:)
I think it’s wonderful to end a pregnancy and honor a birth with a special gift.
I love both the necklace and the ring. Adorbs!!
Push presents are such a special gift. I received a pandora mom charm and a neclace with my daughters birth stone.
I love following your blog especially since our babes are every close in age and I can relate (Olivia was born 1/5/14) and because we both live in the same area 🙂
Enjoy your day!
