Yesterday we said goodbye to my mom who had been staying with us for the past two weeks. My parents live in Virginia, so they aren’t too far away {it’s only a 2 1/2 hour drive} but it was so nice to be able to have my mom come stay with us to help with Baby Brooks during his first few weeks – it’s crazy to think that my mom was with him for 1/2 of his life!
Everyday my mom wanted to post a picture of what she did with Brooks that day on Facebook for her friends & our family to see. It was fun to document our time together in this way so I wanted to share with you a little peek into the past 14 days & how we spent them with my mom!
***********************************
Day 1 – Brooks gave my mom a Valentine in the form of a Hands & Feet Love Print!
Day 2 – Brooks & Grandma enjoying the Bouncer together.
Day 3– Grandma helped give Brooks a bath – He loved it and didn’t even cry!
Day 4– Brooks needed some new threads so Grandma took him shopping – we picked up a few things…
Day 5– Grandpa came to visit for a long weekend!
Day 6 – Grandma & Brooks were #twinning – both wearing red together.
He also rocked his new favorite Converse socks.
Day 7 – The weather was finally nice enough to go out for a walk in his carrier with grandma, grandpa & Jackson.
Day 8 – Brooks had lunch with his BOTH his grandma’s.
Day 9 – Brooks started really loving his Activity Gym, he loves the enjoys the bells that jingle and he occasionally swats at the owls too. I love watching him stretch & looks around on the mat too!
Day 10 – We celebrated Brooks being 4 weeks old!
Day 11 – Grandma, Brooks & Jackson had story time together.
Day 12– We had a bit of cabin fever so we hit up the King of Prussia mall for a leisurely stroll.
Day 13 – Grandma & Brooks plotted their escape to Virginia together.
Day 14 – So sad to say goodbye to my mom, but we are looking forward to seeing her again in a few weeks!
