This past weekend you may have seen on Instagram we celebrated Brooks’ baptism with family here in Philadelphia. Both Charles’ & my families were there to enjoy the ceremony and have a little party afterwards – needless to say, it was a very busy weekend but the weather was beautiful and it turned out to be a perfect day to celebrate our little man.
Here are some photos from the ceremony in the church:
For the local Philly readers, we had the ceremony at St. Francis Xavier Church in Fairmount – such a beautiful church!
More on the story behind the christening dress in another post, but since Brooks would be wearing a dress for the ceremony, we had to add a little manliness to the outfit with some baby converse kicks!
After the ceremony, it was back to our house to celebrate with a luncheon.
I can’t even handle the cuteness in his party outfit – such a little stud!
In other news, Brooks has recently found his hands!
I think it goes without saying that Brooks was all partied out by the end of the day! It was a fun-filled beautiful day that we spent with family – I’m glad we got to share Brooks’ baptism with the ones we love!
