So a few weeks ago I came home to a surprise from my husband – I had been talking about getting a jogging stroller for a while & was on the hunt for a used one, but one day I walked into the front door and was greeted by this bright & shiny new beauty!
The BOB Revolution SE Stroller
I have heard so many great things about the BOB Strollers and when I found out I was pregnant, I always knew I would want a BOB to run with the babe. The BOB isn’t our main stroller, as I really love my Uppababy Cruz for day to day stroller rides, but the BOB is amazing for running!
The large wheels and the suspension system allow this stroller to ride like a dream. I have taken it on many walks but this was the first time actually running with the stroller, and while it was an entirely extra workout in itself to push a 24 pound stroller, plus a carseat, plus the baby – the stroller has great maneuverability, which made running with it pretty easy.
As Brooks is only 12 weeks old {tomorrow!} he is able to ride in the front of the BOB, with the seat reclined all the way, for walks only- but to take him on a run with me requires the carseat adaptor.
{I talked with my doctor before doing this and she is very supportive.}
Brooks loves his carseat and stroller rides – so combining the two of those things with the sun shining and the wind on his toes pretty much ensures him to have an absolute blast.
Also, baby swagger.
Today for our inaugural stroller run, we did a run along Kelly Drive and then we took in some of the sights around the Art Museum. I must say, it was a lovely way to spend Earth Day – plus the weather was amazing.
Seriously, it was a beautiful day.
I also took Brooks to check out his mom & dad’s engagement spot.
He was obviously thrilled.
Aside from the smooth ride & massive wheels another thing I love about the BOB is all the storage. The area underneath isn’t the biggest but there are pockets everywhere! All along the back, inside the stroller – there are little nooks and cranny’s everywhere to store stuff.
Another thing of note regarding the BOB Revolution – when deciding between the SE {Sports Experience} or the CE {City Experience} the main difference between the two is the wheels – 16 inch vs 12 inch wheels, respectively. The size of the bigger wheel does take up more space when the stroller is folded, but aside from using the SE on a variety of terrains for running, we also plan to take this stroller to the beach this summer & feel the bigger wheels will handle the sandy conditions a bit better too!
It was also my first run in my new kicks.
{I’m obsessed – more on them later!}
I’m so grateful for a beautiful day to test out my new stroller {and a baby that enjoys joining me for a run!} I think we went out today for about 90 minutes, doing a mix of running, walking & jogging and it felt amazing! I can’t wait for many more runs with my stroller {and my baby!} this Spring & Summer!
“No more photos mom, please”

Congrats on your first Bob Run! Looks like you and Brooks enjoyed yourselves!
Love these pictures! You are right, the Bob Revolution SE is truly wonderful! Glad you and the littlest sir had a wonderful day outside. 🙂
the littlest sir – love it! 🙂
Thanks for the review. I wish you would have taken photos of the storage, nooks, and crannies.
Sorry Courtnee, I thought about that after the fact. But you can see all the storage on any of the websites the stroller is sold on. All the little spots to hold things were well thought out! Let me know if you have any other questions!
