Another month, another Fix!
Today I’m excited to share with you my 11th Stitch Fix!
Side Note: If you want to catch up on my past Fixes, check out my Stitch Fix page!
For this month’s Fix I asked for some fun, statement pieces, like I pretty much always do – with Stitch Fix I’m not looking for basics, I like pieces that I wouldn’t normally look for or try on myself. I also requested a bunch of specific items {that I saw on other bloggers & wanted to check out for myself} and 4 out of 5 of the items in this fix were included pieces that I had asked for! I always try to do a little online search & ask for certain things but this is the first time I got so many of my requests!
First impressions when I opened the Fix – Loved all the color and different patterns! Here’s what I got:
*************************
Indianan Chevron Print Mixed Material Tee in Purple {$44}
I wasn’t sure about this top when I first pulled it out of the box but it was so comfortable and easy to wear when I tried it on. I liked all the colors in the chevron pattern, but I’m not sure if it’s a little much all together. It’s definitely a fun piece to have in your closet and you don’t need to add much to it to make it pop, since it sort of does that all on it’s own. I like it but I’m not sure I’m in love with it – what do you think?
*************************
Illina Crochet Detail Dress in Soft Orange {$88}
This dress is really fun too – I love the crochet detail in the neckline and on the bottom of the dress. The soft orange color pops a little more in real life than it does in these photos of it on me and I think it’s a great shade for all seasons. It’s also a really nice length – I’m not sure how great this would look on me without a tan and I’m also a little unsure about the fit, its nice but I don’t know if it really does anything for me shape wise. But all the detail in this dress does make it a really nice piece, I sort of feel like I will regret it later if I pas this one up, when I have a bridal or baby shower to attend {already 3+ on the calendar in the coming months!} What do you think – love it or leave it?
*************************
Martine Abstract Striped Maxi Dress in Pink {$98}
Here’s another dress that the second I pulled it out of the box I thought I was in love but now looking at the pictures of it on me, I’m not so sure. It’s super comfortable and I think it fits me really nice – Charles said I looked like a candy cane because of the pink & white and red coloring so now I can’t get that out of my head! I think maybe by itself the pattern can be a little crazy but styled with some complimentary jewelry & accessories, and maybe a blazer would tone it down a bit – like it’s shown in the style card above. It’s still another great dress that I think I would get a ton of use out of though, but it is a little more Spring/Summer and the warm weather is coming to an end here in Philly – What do you think about the dress?
*************************
Bellatrix Embroidered Detail Maxi Dress in Off-White {$54}
I saw this dress on another Stitch Fix recap post and I thought it was really cool. I love the detailing in the neckline and I love the back as well. The lining underneath the maxi is a bit short, but its covered by the longer fabric. It’s sort of boho, sort of romantic at the same time and I really like it – just not sure how much use I would get out of an off white dress 1} with the warm weather coming to a close 2} with a infant baby and 3} in general – but for the price, I think it’s a fun piece – what do you think?
*************************
Gabriel Floral Print Cross-Front Top in Light Green {$44}
This top is totally my style. I love the colors, love the floral and love how it’s structured but still has some flow to it. I will totally rock this with skinny jeans and a fun blazer/cardigan and I love how the style card has it paired with a flowy skirt too. It’s a little big & a touch loose on me, but I don’t mind the extra fabric, especially when I pair it with some skinny pants. Really loving this top – what do you think about it?

Now I’d love to have your input!
Help me decide -> What do YOU think I should keep?

4 & 5 are amazing on you!!
Think the short dress is a keeper- can you get it taken in a bit? Def a little loose but maybe that’s the intended style? Sometimes it’s hard to tell haha. The white maxi would be a no-go with me because it’s so hard to keep clean kid-less, let alone with a a baby. I like the “candy cane” maxi but you’re right it’s not a super transitional piece into Fall because of the colors. Some tough calls!
Love the last top for sure..no question that is a keeper. I don’t really like the first two items though. The 2 maxi dresses are super cute but I understand your hesitations about both of them. I almost think the white one would be better short. But if you had to choose between the 2 maxis I would go with the pink and white one. You could wear it through the fall way more easily than the white one and the colors do look great on you.
Definitely keep # 5 top – looks amazing on you! I do like the #2 dress, does look a little big/boxy, but have you tried a belt or scarf sash with it? It looked nice from the back when you had it cinched at your waist. Tough call! The dress might look better paired with a blazer and the color is certainly good for the Fall.
Love number 5 it’s a keeper!! I don’t think the first two are ideal for your shape.. Maybe a belt might make the dress work better… I like the off white maxi better. But I hardly wear my cream maxi as it’s so hard to keep clean! I wish we could get stich fix in Oz!!
Number 2 & 5! I think the orange dress looks great on you and the tank will be a great piece you can wear every season!
2 and 5 for sure!
I think 4 and 5 are the most flattering pieces. I have the same problem as you with a lot of my Stitch Fix’s- a couple items are sooooo close, but not quite right. If you’re not sure about the pattern on the maxi, I’d leave it though- I think you could find one that you like the pattern on better for cheaper since it’s almost $100. The last top is super cute though!
I love 2 and 5 on you.
2+5
Love the last top the most! It looks great on you! Everything else is kinda meh in my opinion. I like the orange dress, but i think it needs a belt and to be shortened.
I agree – #2 and #5.
2 is the best! Also like 5.
Love 2 & 5 on you, very pretty. 🙂
I love #2, great color on you! And 4 & 5 are great too 🙂
