I’m so excited to share with you a tasty recipe I whipped up last night!
This dish is not only a new favorite of mine, but also husband AND baby approved!
Winner!
This recipe was sent to me to try out by my friends at RedPack tomatoes – They are focused on slow cooking this fall and wants to show families how to have a hot meal waiting at the end of the day despite busy work and school schedules. I was more than willing to try out one of their creations on my own!
This dish was so perfect for me to make -> I bought all the ingredients I needed the day before, some I already had on hand which is always nice. I then chopped a few of the veggies & piled everything into the crock pot while Brooks enjoyed his morning nap – everything was all set & good to go by 10:00am and then it just had to cook away until dinner time!
I used a tri-color pasta noodle but I also think this dish would be fantastic with a tasty egg noodle! Yum!
Having dinner done by 10:00am is always a good idea.
I seriously need to bust out the crock pot WAY more often because this dish couldn’t have been easier OR tastier. I honestly don’t think I’ve ever made such moist and delicious chicken before.
Brooks loved it too – he gnawed on the chicken and veggies and he’s already obsessed with pasta so this was right in his wheelhouse as well.
Paired with a little bread and you are good to go.

What’s the best thing you’ve made in the crock pot lately?
Please share!
ALSO – Do you say crock pot or slow cooker?
I’m conflicted as to what to refer to it as! Help!

Thanks to RedPack for the tasty meal! I will definitely be making it again {soon!}
Need a slow cooker in your life? Redpack also will be hosting a promotion from Oct. 22 to Nov. 12 during which they will give away two slow cookers a day for three weeks on its Facebook page — that’s 44 slow cookers. Just go to https://www.facebook.com/
A little more about RedPack -> Redpack tomatoes are grown in the Midwest, where true seasons positively impact flavor — with just the right angle of the sun, perfect temperature, and soil that seems made for growing tomatoes. Yum!
I was NOT compensated for this post,
but was sent 3 RedPack tomato cans
{shown} for use in this recipe.
All opinions are my own.

Lasanga is delicious in the crockpot. Just build the layers like you normally do, then cook on low for 4-6 hours. The crockpot has been a lifesaver for me with my newborn! Always on the lookout for new recipes.
I love to make Pork BBQ in a crock pot! It always comes out great and all you need is a few buns and some cole slaw and you’re ready to go! Your chicken dish looks amazing too!
