Chips + Dip

Summertime is the perfect time to enjoy chips and dip just about anywhere – at an outdoor BBQ, on a picnic, or just lounging on the deck! I’ve personally been not into real meals lately + snacking in general has been a pregnancy craving of mine, especially on tasty chips and delicious dips! So when I had the opportunity to team up with Late July Snacks + Stonyfield I was pretty pumped. Here are two yummy dips I got to try, check it out:

First up is my new favorite, go-to Tzatziki recipe. I love how cool, refreshing and easy to prepare it is! It totally hits the spot, especially with a good chip + crunch! This Tzatziki can be served as a dip or a topping on your favorite meats, fish or on sandwiches.

  • pt Stonyfield Organic Greek Plain Nonfat Yogurt
  • cucumber (peeled, seeded, and grated)
  • clv garlic (minced)
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • T fresh parsley (chopped)
  • T fresh mint (chopped)
  • T fresh lemon juice

How To:

Combine ingredients in a bowl and fold together, refrigerate for 2 hours before serving.

This makes about 2 cups!

Next up is my new favorite recipe for just about anything – Buffalo Chickpea Dip! I’m obsessed because yes, it tastes as good as it sounds! Yum! I’m a big fan of Frank’s Red Hot, add in some chick peas + blue cheese and I’m good to go for a while. Toss it all together with a nice crunch and it’s the perfect dip for all seasons. Check it out:
  • 1-15.5 oz can chick peas (drained and rinsed)
  • T Franks Red Hot Buffalo Wing Sauce (plus more for garnish)
  • 1/4 c Stonyfield Greek Plain Yogurt
  • T lemon juice
  • celery stalk (diced, for garnish)
  • T crumbled blue cheese (for garnish)

How To:

Place chickpeas, wing sauce, yogurt and lemon juice in the bowl of a food processor. Purée until smooth. Place in a bowl, drizzle with more wing sauce and sprinkle celery and blue cheese on top.

All my favorite dip recipes go perfectly with my new chip obsession – Late July Organic Sea Salt by the Seashore Multigrain Tortilla Chips  tastes as amazing as the name suggests. It’s a multigrain, gluten-free, lightly salted + crunchy with whole grains and seeds. I’m obsessed – it’s the perfect treat to calm my salty cravings!
