I’m so excited to share with you the big news about the new Skinnygirl Snack Swap Campaign. As a Skinnygirl Snack ambassador, I get to try out some of the new goodies before they come out, it’s a pretty awesome gig! This year 27 new recipes for the Snack Swap have been released that match the flavor profiles of the new Skinnygirl bars! I can tell you, they are all seriously yummy!
I’ve been having a blast swap out my snacks for more healthful options with the Skinnygirl Snack Swap campaign. And because of my extra sweet tooth this pregnancy, the awesome flavors have allowed me to still indulge! They are perfect for a healthy, anytime snack – and I love it even more that I can just toss them in my diaper bag and we are good-to-go.
I think I snack more than Brooks does at this point! #alwayshungry
The Skinnygirl Snack Swap website features a playful tool that asks users to choose their favorite snack and then personally picks healthier options to match that craving.
The snack swap recipe I tried out went hand in hand with the Dark Chocolate Almond with Coconut bars, which are fantastically delicious! I’m not usually a dark chocolate person, but these seriously hit the spot! I decided to make a Chocolate Coconut Smoothie to go along with it. This recipe is perfect for when you are craving a little sweetness, but don’t want to overindulge. It tastes amazing and you can feel good about eating it too! Yum!
Did I mention, chocolate?
Chocolate Coconut Smoothie
Ingredients
- 1 cup unsweetened coconut milk
- 1 Tbsp coconut butter
- 1 Tbsp unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1/2 frozen banana
- 1 tsp chia seeds
- Ice cubes
- 1/4 tsp coconut extract
1.Place all ingredients in a high speed blender and blend until smooth.
Easy Peasy.
This creamy chocolate coconut shake is more than just a cold, sweet treat. It’s loaded with fiber and healthy fats. Coconut butter, which is typically less processed than coconut oil, is incredibly rich and flavorful, so just a tablespoon is enough to give this smoothie a fantastic, fullbodied consistency.

Lately I’ve been craving sour patch watermelon candies so I’ve been swapping them out for fresh watermelon – I don’t know if this counts as a snack swap but it has taken some serious willpower! (Plus, I love any and all products under the Skinnygirl umbrella!)
I’ve been craving Mint Chocolate Chip ice cream, so when the craving hits I’ve been grabbing a Choc Peppermint Luna bar. It hits the spot!
I swap frozen banana ice cream for the real thing!
I have been craving a lot of ice cream as well, especially since the summer began. Instead, I have been making my own green smoothies that are much healthier and lower calorie than ice cream.
Frozen cherries when am craving something sweet and cold.
I love Skinny Girl anything and that smoothie looks delicious! Love to win these snacks!
I freeze grapes. YUM!
I’m 28 weeks pregnant and have been eating so much watermelon all summer. Satisfies sweet cravings.
I like to put regular yogurt in the freezer for 30 minutes and then enjoy when I am craving ice cream or a similar treat.
When I crave something sweet, I try to grab fruit instead…especially plums and peaches!
Going for yogurt and fresh fruit and veggies instead of junk food
We swap out chips for popcorn.
