Cereal has pretty much been my world these last few weeks of pregnancy {which have been pretty rough}

Between the heat, being exhausted {+ not wanting to cook or turn on the oven} and my insane heartburn, some days cereal is all I really want and other days, its all I can force myself to eat. It’s crazy because I’m hungry and need to eat {because I’m over here making life!} but my body literally won’t let me.

Luckily, I am a big {huge, even} cereal lover.

I was so excited when I had the opportunity to try out the new Special K Red Berries cereal. It’s pretty much the perfect breakfast in the summer or a great mid-afternoon snack. I love the crunch of the classic Special K cereal – it’s always been a favorite of mine. Now that it adds in one of my favorite fruits, it makes it even more enjoyable. I also love the fact that the strawberries taste really fresh – they get soft and delicious when the milk hits it and I sort of love it!


The Special K Red Berries cereal is amazing with milk, perfect in a little baggie as a snack and also awesome over yogurt for a little bonus crunch. I can’t get enough and Brooks loves to share it with me {aka steal it all}.

Did I mention Special K Red Berries is made with whole grains and real strawberries, it’s also full of  fiber, folic acid and vitamin D. Win, win. win! Especially for us pregnant mamas out there that folic acid + fiber is a real treat to have in our cereal. Nice to have that first thing in the morning!
