So I shared with you what’s in MY Hospital Bag for baby #2’s birth {who we lovingly refer to as the new guy} so I figured I should share with you what’s in his baby bag for the hospital as well. For Brooks’ hospital bag, I went a little crazy and packed way more things than we actually needed. I packed him outfits for each day and things for him to cuddle with but in actuality he was mainly in the hospital onesie + blanket most of the time.
This time around, I’m bringing one outfit for when we take him home {something light, with a side snap because I love those!} a lightweight hat, lightweight blanket and a wubanub. Easy peasy. I might throw another outfit in the mix, just incase – but I’m keeping the clothes light – unlike what we packed for Brooks, which was all fleece, because it’s opposite seasons.
Also bringing a few things for me in the bag – a nursing scarf + a carrier sling, again, just in case. I also threw a book in there for us to read to Brooks when he comes to visit. I might pick up another toy or something for the new guy to give to Brooks to keep him entertained – thinking maybe Magna-Tiles or Tegu Blocks
– something that will be able to entertain him a bit while I tend to #2. Any suggestions?
Anyways – here’s what I’m packing in the new guys bag for the hospital:
Check it out and let me know what you think!

Another thing I’m excited to have in my diaper bag that we will also be bringing to the hospital for Brooks + his brother are my new favorite diaper bag necessity – WaterWipes! I was recently selected as a WaterWipes ambassador + I’m excited to share my love for this product with you over the next few months!
I love these super pure baby wipes and am so pumped to use them with my newborn from the start! These babies are chemical free {meaning they don’t contain preservatives} so you know they are all sorts of perfect for brand new baby skin – plus they are 99.9% water and 0.1% fruit extract, so they don’t have that crazy smell or taste {if you are wiping baby’s hands or face}
Don’t forget to visit the WaterWipes homepage for more information on this amazing product!

Good idea to bring a gift for Brooks! I’ll have to do that for Wyatt too. I remember having lots of pain breastfeeding and lanolin and soothies were lifesavers at the hospital!
