Have you heard of Trunk Club?
It’s pretty much like Stitch Fix – only on steroids – because you get 15 – 25+ pieces per trunk, there is NO STYLING FEE and {if that wasn’t good enough} along with clothes, they send you shoes, sunglasses, watches, bags, swimwear, cover-ups, pretty much everything you could ever want!
Trunk Club is also affiliated with Nordstrom – so you know it’s good quality, good customer service, good brands AND they price match. Wins all around.
Trunk Club is also a little different because you get your stylist and then you can do a quick chat on the phone before your Trunk ships. My stylist, Lindsey is awesome – I told her what I was looking for to add to my wardrobe, some events I have coming up and the price point I’d like to stay in. We also chatted sizing and my current style — it was nice to chat over the phone and really voice my opinions and thoughts, actually being heard and having a conversation about it.
After Lindsey and I chatted on the phone, she put together a portion of my trunk which I got to review and delete anything I knew right away I didn’t want to try. I let her know why I didn’t want certain things and she then added some more items to my trunk based on my picks. Then if you have the Trunk Club app, you can get a sneak peek of what is being sent your way.
You also have 10 days to try everything on before making a decision. It was great being sent so many items because I could really try everything on together, mix and match and test out suggestions for pairing things that Lindsey had sent over.
Since having baby #2 I’ve been really trying to go through my closet and see what I love, what works for my current life, what still fits and really focusing on if I love something or not. Really trying to clear out the old and make room for quality pieces – so trying out Trunk Club has been fun so far!
Also, once you sign up you get a $50 credit when anyone uses your link! So if you sign up with mine, I’ll love you forever, and then you can share yours to your friends! Winning all around ! And a awesome shopping spree too! Ha! Again, doesn’t cost anything to sign up or try it out – you only pay for what you keep!
Now without further ado, here’s what I got in my first Trunk Club – Help me decide what to keep!

Caslon Print Easy Sleeveless Dress /
$64 – also a cute ivory cloud print on sale for 40% off that I sort of want too!
Ok, when I first saw this dress in the sneak peek, I was in LOVE! I loved the colors, the print, the style – I just hoped it would fit! And guess what – it totally did! I am so excited about this dress because I feel like I can do a lot with it in terms of pairing it with fun sweaters, wraps, a jean jacket – to make it my own. So many great colors and I’m obsessed with the print!
This dress is also so freakin’ lightweight – I can already tell I’m going to be wearing it all the time this summer – it’s just so comfortable!
I paired it with my favorite gold cuff + these wedges you are about to hear more about below!
Do you like this dress as much as I do?
**************************
Free People ‘Vee Vee’ Sheer Linen Cardigan / $128 – comes in a sand color as well
Next up is this funky, flowy cardigan – it’s totally my style – I have something similar in another color and fabric that I pretty much wore every day last year. The linen throws me off a little bit, seems a bit more delicate than I would like and is definitely more money than I would normally spend – but I do like it. Not sure if I love it – which I would need to do to buy it at this price. What do you think?
Here it is paired with another top from this Trunk + another pair of shoes from this Trunk too.
**************************
Hinge ‘Neta’ Leather Wedge Sandal / $79.95 – three other color options, I sort of really want the grey!
These shoes! Ah! Seriously – I’m pretty much in love. Totally my style – totally comfortable + cute. I love them with dresses, wedges, shorts, skirts – they are so amazing.
The ONLY tiny problem is that I have a similar pair in the same color – SO I might just have to swap them out for the grey version because they are so awesome. Love.
**************************
Hinge Print V-Neck Top / $68 – four other gorgeous print options too!
Next up – another win! I told my stylist that I love floral and she totally delivered. I really love this top – it’s comfortable, cute and the best part is the fabric – it’s so SOFT! Serious softness!
I paired it with a fun necklace for a little gold kick + my go-to hoops. I feel like this top is a great easy piece for me to put on and look put together – I’m digging’ it!
Now, about these boots.
**************************
Minnetonka ‘Dixon’ Boot / $72.95 – they come in black too!
I told my stylist that I’m a fan of Minnetonka – I’m obsessed – and she sent these my way. They are SO comfortable and I love the ankle braiding detail. I also love the price point for these because they are so well made – Love them. The only thing is I have something similar – don’t really need two pairs, as much as I really do love these.
**************************
Free People ‘Beach Cocoon’ Cowl Neck Pullover / $68 – comes in a oatmeal color as well
I told my stylist I was also a fan of Free People and she sent this little number – little did she know, I’ve been eyeing this one up online for a while now. So I was excited when I had the chance to try it out at home!
I love that it’s grey – my favorite color – loose, comfortable and the cowl neck in the two tone makes it interesting. It’s also really light. Digging this one too!
**************************
Greylin ‘Lia’ Denim Romper / $135
This romper was totally out of my comfort zone when I saw it on the preview – but I didn’t remove it from my Trunk because I thought it would be fun to try. I love a good romper!
A few things about this one a) it’s really comfortable b) I need a tan and c) I feel like I look a little bit like a worker in a garage – anyone else get that vibe? Maybe a tan would help – but this isn’t really my style, as comfortable as it is! Ha!
I did pair the romper with my go-to hoops + this wrap bracelet which is perfect for pretty much anything! Ha!
**************************
Free People ‘On the Island ‘ Blouse /$98 – comes in 2 other colors as well!
Next up this Free People blouse – I love the color – navy – so pretty for every season. The fabric is light + airy which is awesome too. The detail in the shoulders is really interesting and fun – it’s just a little more than I would spend on a top like this that I don’t love or need. Cute though for sure!
More on the white jeans below + these chandelier earrings are my obsession.
Also these flats {which I already own} are the most comfortable ever. They come in a million color options and are on super sale! You can thank me later when you love them as much as I do!
**************************
Frame Denim ‘Le Color Rip’ Skinny Jeans in Blanc / $199 – comes in black too!
Oh white jeans. Seriously – I love these. The fit me like a glove, I love the distressed look. Pure white jeans perfection. Seriously, if you are in the market for a pair of white {or black!} jeans like this, they are amazing and feel like butter!
The only problem(s) – my children.
I have no business, buying $200 WHITE jeans with two little boys. No thanks, no way.
**************************
Halogen Scoop Neck Woven Tank / $39 – comes in a BUNCH of other colors + patterns!
This top was fun to try. Comes in every color + fun pattern option under the sun. It’s a nice forgiving look and the fabric is so easy to dress up or down. You can also pretty much pair it with any necklace/accessory – which is so fun for me! I also enjoy the pleats in the back that give it a little bit of extra flow + length. Such a fun color for summer.
Again, I like it – not sure I love it.
I paired it with this 4 in 1 necklace {that’s 50% off today only!} Such a fun look for summer with the white + pink – again, I need a tan and we’d be all set!
What do you think about this top?
**************************
Treasure & Bond Striped Open Front Cardigan / $98
This cardigan – when I first saw it, I sort of ruled it out – the colors seems a bit muted for me, but in real life, it’s really a gorgeous piece. I think I would wear it a lot, but not sure. On the fence with this one.
**************************
Michael Kors ‘Keaton’ Slip-On Sneaker / $109.95 – a few other colors + patterns including a black suede for 25% off and a fun gunmetal print for 40% off
Now it’s these shoes -> My stylist said they are a favorite of celebrity parents because they are great to throw on and chase after the littles – which I totally agree with! I have two pairs like this that are similar + they actually don’t fit my feet so great, they give me blisters. But I enjoy the look, just not for me!
**************************
Splendid Deep V Half Sleeve Tee / $40 – comes in white too
You can’t go wrong with a basic black tee. This one is really comfortable and fit nice. It was also a great length, but the sleeves are a little long for my taste. And if I’m going to put $40 towards something, it would be something a little more fun to add to my closet – Cute though!
I do love a black tee paired with the black legend pendant though!
**************************
Topshop Moto ‘Hayden’ Ripped Boyfriend Jeans / $80
Now about these pants – they just don’t fit! Way to big + high waisted for my taste.
Seriously, WAY too big!
But that’s the fun thing about having a stylist – she’s sending me these things at first to get a better idea of my size and style! Got to go through a few flops to find the winners!
**************************
Top Shop ‘Fancy’ Pointy Toe Ghillie Flat / $48 – you can get them in solid black as well
And to go along with my lace-up love, my stylist sent me these to try. I love the print – easy to dress up or down and can totally make an outfit but they are a little big and the toe is a little too pointy for my taste, I prefer something more rounded. I enjoy the $48 price point though for them, they are nice shoes!
Here they are paired with the black tee + black linen cardigan from my trunk as well, along with a little silver statement bling.
**************************
Patagonia ‘Nano Puff’ Vest / $149 – two other color options too!
And finally – wow, that was a long post – we have this puffer vest. I enjoy the color and the lightweight factor, but it’s a little pricey and a little too big!
**************************
There you have it! My first Trunk Club experience. I liked it and had lots of fun doing a little mini fashion show – and it was SO much fun when this massive box of goodies showed up on my doorstep!
If you are a busy mom or a working woman {or man – they do men too!} you seriously have to give Trunk Club a try! So fun + convenient, and you literally have nothing to loose!
What do you think about Trunk Club – would you try it?

Hi! I was so excited to see and read about your first Trunk Club trunk! I am expecting mine this week (in a day or two) and wanted to get a sense of what others got/thought about theirs! I am also a Stitch Fix addict and am looking to compare quality!
I love so many of these pieces! I would definitely try this if they shipped to Canada 🙂
Wow – so exciting and what a great selection of stuff. I think you should keep the dress, the floral long sleeve top and the sleeveless Halogen top. I must give this a try!
Trying this through your referral link! I haven’t loved stitch fix so I’m hoping this might work better for me…fingers crossed since I hate shopping and my closet is in bad shape these days!!
Thanks so much Lindsay – Let me know what you think!
