At almost 7 months old {umm…how is that possible? Where did the time go?} We have officially entered the eating solid food stage. I’m a massive fan of the whole baby led weaning thing { we did it with Brooks and it was great – check out posts here and here}
I love this baby phase – because it’s fun + cute. But I’m also not a fan of this baby phase because of the MASSIVE Mess and the whole choking thing!
When we went to the pediatrician for our 4 and 6 month appointments she gave us the go-ahead to go into solids and urged us to do just what we did with Brooks. Give him whatever we were eating {in safe pieces of course} and focus on proteins + heavy fat foods.
It’s been going really well with Graham so far. He LOVES to eat and usually eats at least 2 solid meals a day. When he doesn’t get something to eat, he gets really cranky – he’s still nursing about 5-6 times a day, but obviously little man is growing and needs more fuel!
He loves to gnaw on bread {pizza crust is a favorite} – you’d be surprised as to just how much damage a little man with no teeth can actually do! I give him the bread {in a long piece} and then in a matter of minutes it disappears! Seriously, where does it go?
Carbs are an easy go to, bananas are too, we love puffs as well for a little snack – they are fun to put in front of him and it’s great to watch him learn more and more each day how to use his hands and fingers to pick something up! Seriously, this kid will eat anything!
Baby Led Weaning is all about playtime and exploring through food – I’m into that, and as long as I’m prepared for the mess – most meals end with Graham being stripped down to his diaper and thrown in the tub for a wash – It’s all good!
I’m a Stonyfield Clean Plate Club Member as well, and they just sent me their new Organic 100% Grassfed + Organic Whole Milk yogurt to try out. I love yogurt in the morning because it’s quick + easy, fills me up and keeps me full for a bit.
I also love the fact that I can share it with Graham {Brooks loves his own yogurt too!} and we can all have a little yogurt part in the kitchen together! It’s fun to throw in fruits + granola for a little extra flavor and crunch too!
I have a few coupons to give away for anyone that wants to try out these new flavors for yourself, or to share with your little! Just leave a comment letting me know why you want to try it out!

I tried the grassfed whole milk yogurt but have not seen the greek variety in my grocerty store. Would love to try. My 17 month old can NOT get enough greek yogurt!
I’d love to try their new yogurt, I’ve been looking for options for my little girl that’s healthy and tasty!
Graham sure is doing well – I’m also a big Greek Yogurt fan, love to put oatmeal and granola into mine for breakfast. Stonyfield is yummy!
Love the Stonyfield yogurt! My 18 mo is a big fan as well!
