And Her Little Closet Remix

and her little closet remix

Ok, so as you may know – I like to shop.

I like pretty things, I enjoy fun clothes, great jewelry + accessories, don’t even get me started on my love for shoes. And because of that I’ve built up quite a collection in my closet over the years. #sorryimnotsorry

I did a little closet revamp before Graham was born, which was slightly ambitious, since I was super pregnant and unable to really try anything on, but then again, maybe that worked in my favor since I had to go with my gut on whether I liked something or not. It’s actually probably better to that that now that I think about it!

Either way, last weekend Brooks spent two days with my parents, so I had some extra time on my hands to do some organizing + cleaning – and my closet needed some serious love. It’s pretty sad how super excited I was to organize my closet. It’s the little things! purple

During that time, I did some great organizing and now everything has a place – and I went through and found some really great clothes I had forgotten about! Love it when that happens! But I know there are lots of pieces still in there that need to be tried on or just donated/consigned. {I have a new love for consigning clothes!}

So it being March 1 – I thought it would be fun to formally declare a self inflicted spending freeze in terms of clothes + shoes on myself and hereby announce a closet remix for the month of March! I’m really trying to go through my closet, force myself to wear different things, try out different combinations of pieces in my closet and also use this as an excuse to get dressed in the morning {aside from the normal black stretchy pant mom wardrobe!}

I’ll be posting outfit pictures on Instagram and may do a weekly round-up here on the blog as well!

I’m excited to dress up a little more each day and to share a little more of my personal style with you. It’s fun to be able to dress so casually since I stay at home – but I like to be cute and comfortable and look put together too!

Meet my new best friend – a selfie stick, courtesy of Stitch Fix – can’t wait to use this to share more of my closet remix challenge with you!

Now it’s your turn to share – Want to join me on this spending freeze + shop your closet?

How do you switch up your wardrobe + keep things fresh?!

    Kudos to you! I cleaned out my closet when we moved and got rid of tons of stuff, but like you, I need to get in there and wear different things as I’m in a daily clothes rut too!

    I cleaned out my closet after I had my baby and literally had hardly anything left in it! It has been fun building my wardrobe back up!
