I feel like I do a pretty good job of sharing my style with you here on the blog. Between my closet remix and my Friday favorites alone, I think you get a pretty good idea of what I like to wear.
And you can also get an idea of my color scheme. Sure, I like a pop of color or print – florals are my current favorite – but for the most part, you can usually find me in grey, black, white + denim. Grey is my favorite color – partly because I like to accessorize – but it’s also just easy to wear, pair with pretty much anything and just go.
Let’s be honest – life is a little crazy with two little boys. And even though I go through almost as many outfit changes as the boys {due to baby vomit} I still like to look cute. We live in the city and are always out and about meeting people – so it’s important for me to look nice and be comfortable – and still be able to chase after the littles!
When I was given the opportunity to try out the new Rocky 4EurSole summer sandals – I was excited to try out a new brand of shoes and see how they would be put to the test after a day of chasing around after the boys – and pair them with some of my current casual looks.
These shoes are pretty out of my comfort zone but when I was given the chance to pick a shoe from the Rocky 4EurSole summer sandal line – I wanted to give something different a try.
Normally I wouldn’t reach for a 3 ¼-inch wedge platform – but these have balance, stability and provide even distribution of your weight – very surprisingly for a wedge! The foot strap buckles through a hole in the wedge heel which allows the ultimate in adjustable fit and reduces heel slippage! Another cool feature is that the outsole is made of rubber that’s oil-resistant and slip-resistant to give you secure footing on slippery surfaces.
I was also a little unsure about the “came-esque” look on the wedge heel, but in real life it’s more green and tan than anything else – and going along with my grey, white, black “wardrobe” they are a nice little pop of print + green, which I enjoy.
Now I just need some Spring weather to be able to wear these babies outside everyday!
Like I said, these are a little out of my comfort zone but they are so freakin’ comfortable! I can walk around town, chase after the boys and look cute doing so – if I say so myself – and I do! You will be seeing me wearing these a lot this summer – it’s true how a fun little piece to your daily look can really make a difference to brighten your mood!
