Today I’m here to spread the love about Mason Dixon – a boutique line of fine goods made by hand in Philadelphia, PA. A friend of mine, Heather Holiday is the designer and maker behind Mason Dixon. The collection is inspired by childhood adventures, imagination and old-school craft. The designs are simple, traditional and functional – and I was excited to share with you some pictures of my littles in their Mason Dixon shoes!

Heather and I are in a mom networking group together. So I was beyond thrilled when she offered to make a pair of shoes for my boys to try out – yes, everything is made to order, by hand, right here in Philadelphia.

Brooks got to try out the Derby’s – which are inspired by the traditional derby shoe and the desert boot. These unisex leather boots are simple and stylish – featuring European suede and 100% vegetable-tanned leather soles with genuine plantation crepe rubber soles. We were actually sent these before Graham was born but I requested a larger size for Brooks so he could grow into it and he’s just fitting into them now! Perfect for the Spring!

These beautiful Derby’s were made with a twin – a little brother bootie shoe for Graham!

Seriously, how sweet are these? If you know anyone having a baby anytime soon – these are an amazing gift! The booties are a soft-soled version of the derby boots {like Brooks has}. They feature beautiful, European leathers and hand cut leather laces – my favorite part is that the hidden elastic keeps these booties on even the most active of little feet.

Look at how cute they are! And I really have to vouch for the hidden elastic – these shoes stay on so well!

I love how sweet and special these shoes are on my babies feet. They are made from beautiful leathers and natural plantation crepe soling – which Heather’s husband fits to order every night! These shoes are cut generously in the width to allow young feet to grow and the flexible sole is ideal for the developing foot.

These shoes are also pretty cool because you can really make them your own when you choose a fun pair of colorful waxed cotton laces. I love a fun pop of color in a shoe – especially a shoe for the littles!

And I have a little secret to share – did you know Mason Dixon is doing Father’s Day sets?? How cute is that?! A custom father/child pair that matches.
