We are currently getting back into the swing of things after another long weekend away. I have to say that I am pretty wiped out from our crazy busy summer – we’ve been on the go so much! I’m excited to stay at home and get back in the swing of things for a while, Brooks and Graham are pumped too. The kids need to get back on their schedules again, in their beds – and I’m excited for Brooks to start his new journey that is preschool {more on that next week!} And I’m excited to get back into a better mealtime routine with the littles too.
Last night was the perfect time to get back into grind, especially after a 300 miles, 6 hours, 4 states, 3 naps, 2 stops and we are finally home again.
My first goal in getting back to our normal is to get back to some good eating. Our meals have been all over the place lately and I know the littles have been lacking in the vegetable department! That’s all about to change!
We know that mealtime can get a little hectic sometimes, between keeping your little one occupied/entertained and preparing a fresh, delicious and healthy meal the whole family can enjoy. Throw packing and unpacking, being on the go all over the place, and it makes a good mealtime for the littles that much harder.
I was excited when I had the opportunity last night to schedule a meal elivery service to have arrive at home – because you know when you get home from a long trip, you have nothing in the fridge. Aside from the amazing eats that were delivered to my front door, Graham also had a treat he was able to try out at home – The Mickey Mouse Helping Hands Feeding & Activity Seat – how cute is this?
I love that it combines mealtime fun and a nice distraction for your little one – he has some entertainment to keep him busy while I am getting things prepped and then he is ready to eat in a fun little seat. The adjustable play and feeding tray offers 3 positions, and the 3-point harness ensures baby stays put even at their wriggliest. The seat attaches to most chairs, and height is adjustable for perfect placement at the table so the whole family can enjoy a meal together – we enjoyed a lovely meal outside.
The chair is also awesome because you can set it up anywhere. We loved putting it outside so we could dine al fresco – but it’s also awesome to throw in the car if you are heading over to grandma + grandpas house so you have a seat for the little babe. Because let’s be honest, at this age – you ALWAYS need a extra seat for the little!
And don’t worry – Brooks got a little Mickey Mouse treat from First Years too!
And here’s a little peek at the yummy food we were able to try out – a perfect meal for summer!
Southwestern Cheeseburgers on a summer night after a long trip? Yes, please

We’re about to have our first baby (due next week)! It would be great to have this on hand for when feeding time comes in the future. Looks like a great option to keep at grandmom’s!
Would love this chair to bring to other family’s houses!
My 2 month old would love something like this once she’s big enough to use it. My 22 month old son has the convertible bumbo seat that I think he will have a hard time sharing with his sister!
Ahhhhhh, dining al fresco. 🙂 Two thumbs up! With the gorgeous fall weather that’s headed our way, we’ll be eating outside often. Would love to win this seat for my little guy. Carrying this outside would be much easier than lugging the high chair! Plus, who doesn’t love a distraction for baby while trying not to get dinner prepped and on the table? This chair sounds like a win-win!
Oops! 😐 Delete “not!” …while trying to get dinner on the table! 🙂
My newest niece would get great use of this adorable chair!!
I would love to win because Mickey Mouse was the first character my son recognized! He loves “Nic-kee.”
I would love to win this for my son 🙂
I currently have an 8 week old and a 2 year old! I’ve been struggling trying to juggle having both boys on my own :/. I think this chair would be great for little #2 when he’s big enough, to give me some time with his big brother!
I would love to win this for my daughter, so she can sit and eat in her own adorable chair.
This chair so so cute! It’s hard to get them to stay seated so the Mickey theme would be perfect.
This set is the cutest, who doesn’t love Mickey Mouse! It would be so perfect at Gaga and Pop’s house too!
My son loves Mickey!!!!!!
