You know the feeling {not to mention the possibilities} when you find a piece of clothing that can take you from spring to summer {and even fall}?

And did I mention pockets?!
Because, pockets.
I love that you can’t even see these pockets on the dress unless you are using them – which is pretty cool for a color block shift dress.
I enjoyed pairing this dress with my over the knee block heel boots for a more dressed down look. Especially if you are in between winter/spring or summer/fall and there is a little chill in the air or you don’t want to bust out a full cream + chartreuse dress just yet – it’s the perfect in between dress moment.
Especially if you don’t have a tan yet! Ha!
And can we talk about the BACK of this shift dress for a moment? I LOVE the open back – it’s such an unexpected touch and gives the dress a beautiful and romantic feel.
Would be so cute with your hair up in a low bun! Going to have to try that next time!
I also thought it would be fun to change up the look of this dress with a classic leather jacket and cut-out heels.
A little pop of blue never hurt anyone. These are my favorites and they are on SALE! So comfortable and perfect for spring/summer!
And a great leather jacket is something everyone needs in their closet – it easily transforms any look. I think its a great piece to dress up or down any outfit. It definitely puts a different spin on this color block shift dress!
This dress is a lot of fun to style for so many reasons. I love the pop of color – the cream + chartreuse is different, yet muted. The neckline is incredible for pretty much any necklace or earring style, which I love as a stylist. The unexpected open back is a treat. An you can really put any style of shoe with this look to make it more casual or dressy – I want to try it with sandals and even cute sneakers!
And did I mention this dress is only $20? What?! But, incase you are wondering, it doesn’t feel like $20 – and for me, that makes spending a little more on great shoes and accessories a little easier to do!
It’s pretty much the perfect Easter, baby shower, wedding, date night, day date or anytime dress. I’m going to have fun wearing this spring, summer, Fall {would be so cute with a jean jacket!} and even winter with a cozy sweater and maybe some fun tights!
What would be your favorite way to style this look?! I’d love to hear it!
