I’ve decided that everyone needs a little red dress in their life. A cute, affordable, versatile, even off the shoulder shift dress. With a sweet little tie detail on the sleeves.
And guess what – I found the perfect one!

I thought this dress was a winner when I first got my hands on her. I love the fun red – it’s a great shade – not too bright, and it would be great for any season to wear it in:
- Fall – with boots and a leather jacket
- Winter – with leggings and a cozy sweater – Hello Holidays
- This is also a perfect red dress for Valentines Day Date
- Spring – so cute with a jean jacket and flats
- Summer – any sort of dressy heels and a tan!
Did I mention this dress is under $30 and comes in black too!
Love.
I also enjoyed pairing it with a pair of Ripped Ankle Skinny Jeans {similar} for a more casual look. Because of the off the shoulder style of this dress, you can adjust it a bit to make it more of a tunic if you like, which I thought was fun!
But even with the super affordable price tag, this piece looks very dressy and chic all on it’s own, which I really like too!
And its fun to spruce up the shift dress with some fun accessories – because even with the bold red color and the off the shoulder style, it is a plain dress that you can accessorize to make it your own.
I enjoyed dressing it up with my leather Waverly clutch + the versatile Ezra statement necklace. I thought the peach + grey tones in the necklace gave the dress a little extra pop.

And a scrappy Block Heels {similar}is fun to dress up or down. Next time I want to tone this dress down even more with some cute converse or sandals – would be fun to give it a totally different look.
This was a really fun piece to style and share with you. I can’t wait to see what other ways I can wear it as the weather changes here in Philly. And don’t you worry, I’ll be sure to share the style with you too!
Do you have a favorite piece of clothing that you love to transform from a more casual look to a date night piece? I’d love to hear about it if you do!
