So school this morning went pretty well! It felt really good to be back in a school setting. I guess I am a loser, but I really enjoyed it and am looking forward to the next few years of classes! Previously, in high school and college, I always hated going to class and studying for tests and writing papers, but I have been on the other side of the ‘real world’ and I MISS SCHOOL!
First up I had Biology class. I think I am going to like this class a lot. The teacher was engaging and kept me entertained. He gave out some great lecture notes for us to follow along with and even places for us to ‘fill-in-the-blank’ with key words and phrases. The professor also gave us off tomorrow, which is supposed to be a lab day, so I get to sleep in! That puts in on my good side for sure!
Chemistry wasn’t as fabulous. I know Chemistry is going to be a little harder for me because of all the calculations. I am not so good at those! The teacher was also kind of putting me to sleep. He wrote everything on the board, which I appreciate as an avid note-taker, but he wrote everything out in cursive, v-e-r-y sloooooowly. It was WAY harder for me to pay attention, and he also didn’t cover very much material.
I also must admit, I was twittering a bit during class today! Bad Leslie!
I did bike to class today. It was about 4.5 miles each way. Pretty nice bike ride in the morning! It took me about 20 minutes to get down into the city. Check out my ride. Its not the best picture because my camera is in the shop, but I wanted everyone to meet my bike. I had a basket on it for my school bag (and sometimes Jackson!), but today I had to add a backpack to the mix to carry all my crap! I need to consolidate all my crap for school into 1 bag! That’s my goal!
I had to post this: Britney Spears sings “You Outta Know” live in Greensboro Live the other night. I am sad that she didn’t sing live at either of the concerts I went to, Tear. I think she sounded really good here and did a good job. If you watch the video, she turns around and faces the camera about halfway through.
What do you think? How did Brit Brit do?
