Hello friends! I am back from my wild and wonderful 2 week cruise! Two weeks is a SERIOUSLY long time to be away from my computer, the internet and all my blog friends, but it was nice to take some time and disconnect from everything and start 2010 fresh.
It was even nicer to spend 2 weeks with my family. I don’t see my mom, dad or brother nearly enough so it was nice to be with them for the last few weeks travelling all over the coast from Miami, Florida to San Diego, California. Check out my travel route here.
I am not sure if I have shared this little fact about me before but
I LOVE CRUISING
I have been on about 7-8 cruises all over the Eastern, Western and Southern Caribbean, I have also cruised in Hawaii (THAT was an awesome trip!). My family and I love packing our bags and hitting the high seas. Its amazing to travel by boat and wake up (almost) every day in a different port of call. There are tons of shore excursions and so much to see and do at all the different stops.
On the days at sea I love laying out by the pool, curling up and enjoying a good book, or just staring out at this wild blue yonder. It really is a nice change of pace. It’s crazy to look outside the window and see nothing but ocean for as as long as the eye can see.
There is so much to do on a cruise ship! It’s an amazing way to travel and see the world. I highly recommend it.
Have YOU ever been on a cruise?
So please bare with me with week as I get my life in order. I always feel like I need another vacation after getting home and getting everything together after being on one. Isn’t that how it always is?
I start classes up again this week and have lots of other fun stuff going on so stay tuned. I will be posting recaps of my trip throughout the week. I don’t want to bombard everyone with my recap ( I took a million pictures!), but I do want to share it with you!
Thanks again to everyone who sent in guest posts. I know it was a little crazy since I left a week earlier than planned, but all the posts were great and such a big help. So thank you!
I also wanted to thank fiancé for helping with putting up the guest posts while I was away. There were a few kinks since he isn’t familiar with blogging at all, but I love him for trying!
