Stitch Fix #3 For My Mom

Another week, another Stitch Fix to share with you – but this time, it’s my moms!

My parents came up this past weekend to visit with me {aka – see Brooks!} and do a few wedding things with my brother and his fiancé. We’ve had this weekend in the books for a while now and my mom thought it would be fun to order another Fix {check out her first 2 Fixes here!} and see if she could find some new goodies to take on an upcoming trip.

Here’s what she got – let us know what you think & help her decide what to keep!

Side Note: If you want to catch up on my past Fixes, check out my Stitch Fix page for everything I’ve received from my past 11 fixes, including family & friend’s Fixes too!!

41 Hawthorn Astor Ruffle Front Tank in Teal Green {$58}

Astor Ruffle Front Tank

First off, let me just say that I love this color on my mom. Actually, I pretty much love all color on her, but this teal green especially. My mom really loved the ruffle detail in this tank and aside from the color, I also enjoyed the length, because it’s perfect to wear with skinny jeans, which I’m in the process of teaching my mom how to wear! I think it looks great and it’s an easy piece to wear {and travel with!} – what do you think?

Papermoon Lexis Abstract Print Henley Tank Top in Blue {$48}

LOVE this tank – I’m sort of obsessed with the abstract/tribal pattern of it, and I love the blue and purple coloring mixed in with the black and white. My mom is a little unsure about the pattern, but I told her if she doesn’t keep it, I’m going to steal it for myself! It’s such a great piece going into the Fall & would look great paired with a layering sweater or a blazer. It’s a great jersey material that won’t wrinkle either, which is always awesome.

Renee C Katelin Sleeveless Ikat Elastic Waist Dress in Black {$34}

I’m personally obsessed with this dress. I LOVE the black and white ikat print and I think it’s a super flattering fit – and can we talk about the $34 price tag?! Hello! That’s the most inexpensive piece of clothing I’ve seen from Stitch Fix. Love it! I tried it on and it was a little snug in the hips for me {I blame the baby} but I’m totally requesting it in a larger size in my next fix! Collective Concepts Shailey Abstract Print Key-Hole Blouse in Red {$58}

This flowy & colorful top is so fun. I love the colors & the key hole detailing in the front and back of the tank. It’s a little on the spring/summer side of the seasons, which sadly is coming to a close, but I still think it’s a nice top. My mom tried it on with jeans and shorts, like shown in the style card & I think it looked cute on her, but maybe a little big. It’s also a little more blousey than she normally would wear, but I told her thats the kind of top that’s fun to pair with skinny jeans. Loveappella Sharron Shirred Maxi Skirt in Black {$58}

Loveappella Sharron Shirred Maxi Skirt

This skirt my mom was not really into. It had a big fold over detail on the top of it that didn’t really look right when my mom put it on for her body type. It was made of comfortable fabric and looked like a nice black skirt maxi basic – if you are in the market for one!

What To Keep

Now it’s your turn to give your thoughts on my mom’s 3rd Fix!

What’s your favorite piece from this Fix?

What do you think she should keep?

I always love reading your opinions & suggestions on my Stitch Fix posts, so thank you for sharing!

    Recent reader and stitch fix-er. All of these items are great! It looks like a fix I’d buy all the pieces for sure, haha. That teal top is beyond exciting. I am so requesting it in my next fix. I really liked the orangey-red top. It looks nice on your mom, and would look great layered in the fall with a nice heavy cardigan or blazer, skinnies and boots.
