Play All Day

“I participated in an Influencer Activation on behalf of Influence Central for Hasbro and Playskool. I received product samples and a party stipend to facilitate my review, as well as a promotional item to thank me for my participation.”

So it was a bit of a rainy, dreary weekend here in Philadelphia, due to Hurricane Joaquin. So it only seemed right that we have a little fiesta to celebrate – nothing really specific to celebrate, just PLAY!

We were able to have some neighbor friends over to Play All Day because the lovely folks at Hasbro and Playskool provided us with some new + fun toys for the littles to try out – and Brooks especially is at the perfect age where he just loves to play with anything and everything.

The highlight of our Play All Day party was the fact that Brooks and his friends got to test out the new Play All Day Elmo! Elmo just happens to be one of Brooks’ favorite characters at the moment. We don’t watch much TV but when we do he asked for Elmo {or Daniel Tiger!} So when I had the chance for Brooks to be able to try out the latest & greatest Elmo toy, I was pretty excited to surprise him with it!

Play All Day Elmo is pretty awesome because its a very interactive toy – something Brooks had never really seen or been able to experience before! Elmo features 150+ responses as well as 8 games + activities he plays along with you. He has two different play modes – Toddler & Preschool – which is great for Elmo to grow along with your little one.

In Toddler mode, kids can enjoy basic cause-and-effect play, like tickling Elmo or squeezing his nose to see how Elmo might respond. In Preschool mode, preschoolers and Elmo can take play to the next level with games and activities. Games include Hop and Count, Pat-a-Cake, Freeze Dance, Animal Sounds, Elmo Says, Color Guessing, What’s Up in the Sky, Red Light Green Light.

Elmo also has a nap time mode which is great for your little one to cuddle with him and listen to Elmo play a lullaby (which you can start the lullaby by squeezing his nose). Elmo’s built-in sensors help him respond to different activities in fun ways; he can react when he’s in the air, when he’s upside down, and even when he’s moving around.

We were also treated to a bunch of My Little Pony Musical Celebration Castle + a Jurassic World Tyrannosaurus Rextoys to give out to Brooks’ little friends as special treats as well. It was nice to have everyone over to play and for them to leave with a toy as well – what kid doesn’t love that?

All three are such fun toys for the littles ones – and with the holidays right around the corner, its nice to have some good ideas in your back pocket!

What’s on your little one’s holiday list?
