The Expressive Hand – Valentine’s Day Toddler Art Inspiration

So I know lots of people with littles are looking for fun + cute little art projects to do for the upcoming Valentine’s Day so I thought it would be fun to share a little art project Brooks did for Christmas.

This is the second year we went to The Expressive Hand in South Philadelphia – check out my post + Brooks’ art from last year. I love spending a morning and letting Brooks go wild with paint, making special gifts for Gaga + Pops, Mimi + PopPop, along with all his aunts + uncles. I think it’s so special when a child can give a gift he made himself.

Plus, Brooks is CLEARLY gifted in the art department. I mean, do you see those painting skills?

He makes a mean trivet.

And a meaner mess!

The place we go to is local to Philly, but I’m sure if you google it you can easily find a art studio that does things like this for the kids. Plus, let’s be honest, everything with this big of a mess is way more fun when you don’t do it at home!

This is the second time we’ve done this and it’s been so much fun, plus a nice, personalized piece for family to display!
