Favorite Diaper Bag + Newborn Baby Essentials

 I am a bag lady.
It’s no secret and I’m not mad about it.
What can I say, I love a good bag.
With two little boys and the fact that we are out and about in the city most days, a good, solid bag is something I really need.
And have to use wisely.

I thought that as they littles got bigger, I could downsize my bag and not have to carry so much stuff around. But with two littles, who have a big appetite, one still in diapers and just general things I like to have with me ‘just incase’ my large bag is full.
When the lovely folks at Baby Cubby reached out to me to see if we could partner on sharing my newborn baby essentials, as well as try a few things from their site. I was excited to try out the new Babymel Grace diaper bag!
This bag is awesome for so many reasons. First being, it doesn’t look like a diaper bag! I love a bag that I can jam pack full of kid stuff and then empty out a bit and still use to go run errands.
There are two ways to carry this bag, which I also enjoy. The detachable long shoulder strap, which you can also wear like a messenger bag. And the short handles, which make the bag easy to grab and go.
I love the tan color and the fact that it’s simple, modern and stylish. The curved top adds a chic twist to the shape, while the roomy inside holds everything you need.
With this bag, they’ve thought of it all. It has a seriously wide opening with secure zip top closure, an  external pocket which I like to slide my phone into, and two internal open pockets and one zipped inside pocket for added security. It also features a built-in side insulated bottle compartment that keeps bottles upright and warm or cool for up to 4 hours – I don’t  need this so much for the bottles anymore, but it’s nice to put a drink into so it will stay cool !

And aside from this awesome + new favorite bag of mine, I was so excited to see that all of my favorite companies from when Brooks + Graham were brand new little babes are all together on the Baby Cubby site!
Chewbeads, Freshly Picked, Bannor Toys, Sakura Bloom – just a few of my favorite must-have, adorable pieces for a new little babe in your life! Seriously, so much cute stuff thats different and special – a great round up of brands for sure! Baby Cubby Newborn Favorites

And as a little side note – if you are in the market for one, another diaper bag favorite that I first used with Brooks is the Petunia Pickle Bottom Boxy Backpack, also a part of the babycubby.com site! Be sure to check that out!

I really enjoyed working with Baby Cubby as a company because they aren’t just “another baby store” – they truly are a resource for new parents through the amazing journey of parenthood. They have a little something for every aspect of being a new mom {or a new parent!}, if you are in the market for some goodies for your new little or a mama-to-be in your life, be sure to check out Baby Cubby and give the some love!
