Cherry Blossom Mom + Babes Sneak Peek & The First Years Mealtime Favorites Giveaway

Yesterday the boys and I had a special project we were working on. A little pre-Mother’s Day treat for me!

It’s always been on my wish list to have pictures taken with the cherry blossoms in Philadelphia – every year, they come and go so quick and I miss my window!

My friend,{ + Philly Photographer} Ashley Ringelberg knew about my hopes and dreams to get some Cherry Blossom pictures taken – she texted me on Monday saying lets go on Wednesday, and that’s exactly what we did!

I can’t wait to share the rest with you, it was such an awesome morning {and stressful – ha!} BUT these are two sneak peeks she just sent me that I’m already so excited about!

Brooks and Graham are marching in the below picture – Ha!

I don’t know why the Cherry Blossoms come and go so quickly each year, such a shame because they are so beautiful and the perfect pop of Spring.

I wish they could stay around longer for us to enjoy them more, but I guess thats what makes their short time in bloom that much more special.

Such a beautiful, perfect spring day. I’m so glad we were able to sneak it in before all the rain we are having here today in Philadelphia, which is likely to wash all the Cherry Blossoms away.

And aside from how wild + crazy fun the photo shoot with the littles was, it was also a little wild and just plain crazy. Sure, we were shooting for about 3 hours – going to different spots, trying to get the right light – and I know thats a long time for the littles. BUT sometimes you got to do what you got to do – and you know what helped get us through?

I’m feeling lately like the whole “way to a man’s heart is through his stomach” starts at a seriously early age. Like 1.5 and 3 years old.

My little boys like to eat.

And my little boys like to be on the go.

So usually we are eating on the go.

How adorable and smart are these Double Duty Plates. You get 4 in the pack, which can be 4 separate plates OR you can use 2 together to make a lid, to take a meal with you on the go. Comes with a cute little fork as well.

I’ve been using these constantly since I got them – they are perfect for on the go eats for the littles. I love how I can pack up a wide variety of food for both boys and then toss in my bag!

And since we are on the topic of mealtime for the littles, I figured it would be worth sharing Brooks’ new cup  – Simply Spoutless Cup  – I never thought these cups would work and not spill, but both boys LOVE drinking out of them and the modern pattern is really cute too.

It’s his cup of choice for sure! Graham uses the other one that came in the set and loves it equally as much.

Graham got sent another special pack of cups just for the younger littles – the Stackable Trainer Cup. He really loves the handles on this, you can usually find him carrying it all around the house. I love how the pattern compliments Brooks’ cup to keep everything similar, but different.

And while we are on the subject I just have to share with you this incredible Inside Scoop Plate. It has a suction gripper on the bottom of it so you can stick it to just about any surface to stay put! Until recently, Graham has been loving tossing his plates – but this one stops him in his tracks.
Not to mention the curved edges are awesome for the littles to teach themselves how to eat with a fork or spoon. An awesome + well designed product for sure
