Spring Trunk Club Reveal

So it’s been a loooong time since I received a Trunk Club, I figured with the change of seasons, it was time to remedy that!

If you want to get caught up, check out my previous Trunk Club posts:

my first Trunk  / Second Trunk Club  / Third Trunk {before our trip to Mexico!} / Fourth Trunk Part 1 + Part 2 / Fifth Trunk {for the Holidays!}

Taj Clutch / Amala Earrings / Pari Necklace

/ Chambray Dress /  Heels {similar}

For this Trunk, I requested some fun pieces for the spring into summer season. I don’t really neeeeed anything, but it’s always fun to get a few new pieces when the seasons change, amiright?

Side Note to Myself – I need to do a major closet clean out! But that’s another problem for a different day!

Today is all about the TRUNK!

Let’s get to it ->

//  Off the Shoulder Top

And if you are interested in signing up for  Trunk Club yourself – please use my referral link and let me know what you think! Trunk Club is a part of Nordstrom, so you get amazing customer service and great quality brands you know and love. It’s $25 to get a trunk full of goodies and you can use that $25 towards anything you want to keep – so it’s pretty much free in my eyes! When you sign up for a trunk you get a stylist and you tell her what you are looking for – you are then sent a preview of what is going to be sent your way, which you can accept, remove things from and/or comment on what you like and don’t like so your trunk gets personalized towards you, before being sent your way! I love the little sneak peek, but seriously, who doesn’t love a giant box of clothing arriving at your front door?!

I was sent 10 beautiful pieces of clothing to try on for this month – I had a hard time sending this box back, I sort of loved it all! Here’s what I got – check it out and let me know what you think!

Morning Suede Moto Jacket

This jacket comes in 7 other colors and while it is really pretty and beautifully made, it’s definitely not something I need going into the spring/summer months! I have something similar in leather that I love, but it’s more of a Fall jacket, which is what I  see this as! If you need something like this in your wardrobe, it’s really well done, just not something I need at the moment!

Off the Shoulder Peasant Top

This is a seriously beautiful top, which comes in black too. I love the off the shoulders with the pop of lace at the elbow and the billowy sleeve. It has lovely detail and is a great fit too.

This peasant top is light, airy, perfect to accessorize with fun necklaces or earrings! What do you think about it?

Cold Shoulder Ruffle Sleeve Top

This top is a beauty and it comes in 5 other colors, but I LOVE the blush pink! I’m also a fan of the cold shoulder + ruffle combination, it’s really pretty. I paired this top with a few other pieces from this trunk, so I think it’s a pretty versatile piece, the only thing I was on the fence about it would be lots of wrinkling with the fabric and the color, and maybe even seeing sweat marks in the heat! Might be crazy, but it’s something I think about!

 / heels  {come in 3 other colors, LOVE !}

Newark Lace Skirt

This was a really interesting piece that when I saw it was shipping to me, I was excited to try it out! Online it shows the skirt with a matching white off the shoulder top, which I wasn’t sent in this trunk, so I had to get creative.

It’s a fun skirt and I love the midi length with the excess lace showing – I think it’s support pretty. I just don’t have a real reason to wear it! What do you think about the skirt? How would you wear it?

Off the Shoulder Top

Next up, another cold shoulder top, which comes in two other lightly striped colors too. I enjoy the stripes over white a LOT. I think this top could be amazing over white skinny jeans or white shorts.

But then I remember that I’m a mom of two little boys and the reality of me wearing white pants anytime soon is slim. Still it’s a cute top, but I’m on the fence about it because of the price.

Fray Hem Chambray Shirtdress

This dress. AH! I was so excited when it arrived in my trunk and even more excited when I put it on and it fit because I had been on the hunt for a good chambray dress for a while. I actually picked this denim dress at Target, which is really cute and comes with a belt {and $20} BUT on me it was always coming up a little short and the buttons at the bottom I felt were exposing me a bit {even though I always wear shorts under dresses #boymom}

I was also looking at this similar dress at J.Crew {which is on sale now} but I’m really happy with the extra detail on this Chambray Shirtdress that Spoiler Alert: I kept! The fit is nice and casual + comfortable. I dressed it up with heels for a night out {see the first picture in this post up top!} and I think it will be cute running around after the boys with sneakers. I also can’t wait to pair it with boots!

Are you a chambray dress fan? Let me know what you think!

Katri Woven Bootie

Next up are these adorable booties that come in black as well. You may know this, but Vince Camuto is my shoe spirit animal. The brand fit my feel so well, they look great and even with the heels, I can still walk around in them all day, no problem. I don’t have a problem spending a little more on something that is quality made and lasts.

While I do enjoy these shoes a TON – I have similar ones in almost the same color, so I can’t justify keeping them. Maybe if they go on sale, maybe in another color!

What do you think? Have you ever tried Vince Camuto shoes?

Smocked Off the Shoulder Maxi Dress

Ah! This dress! It comes in a ivory floral as well, but I really love the black! I enjoy the off the shoulder, the fun slit up the side and it’s a really great price point too! The material and the fit definitely seems with it for the money, in my opinion!

As you can see from the photos, I had a fun time trying this one on! It’s a really pretty dress that I think would look amazing on anyone – I wish I took a close up photo of the floral because it’s really lovely.

Trying my hardest to think of a event or a reason to keep this beauty because I really do love it. Going back and forth – what do you think about it?

Keep or Pass?

Treseaure & Bond Mini Skirt

I’ve been on the hunt for a new denim skirt, so I was excited when this one appeared in my Trunk. It fits nice, I’m just not a fan of the back {click the product link to see the pocket on the bum} Can’t get past it and I know I could find something similar that I love the front and the back of! This just isn’t my style!

Jasmine Print Roll Sleeve Top

Yikes, another flop. This top might look halfway decent in the photo, but in real life it’s a definite NO for me. Not a fan of the orange, not a fan of the Hawaiian print and I don’t need another delicate button down. This is a definate pass!

But it doesn’t look that bad in the photo.

    This trunk was a good one for you, but I loved the chambray dress, the white off the shoulder top and the pink ruffle top best. Glad you definitely kept the dress!
