Christmas at Hershey 2017 : our visit to Hersheypark Christmas Candylane + Hershey Sweet Lights

Last Friday the boys + I {along with my mom} were treated to a special day at Hersheypark! It was the opening of their Christmas at Hershey: Christmas Candyland season and we were invited to check it out.

After Hersheypark in the Dark + our trip to try out BBLz™ and my Sweet Welcome weekend – we are really getting spoiled with all this Hershey love – but I don’t mind {And the boys don’t either!} It has quickly become their happy place, which I seriously love. I remember going to Hershey, PA for all the fun when I was little and I want the boys to have that too – especially because we are so close living in Philadelphia!

Ok – back to Christmas at Hershey! This was our first time visiting Hersheypark for the Christmas fun, so I was very excited to check it out. As always, they did a tremendous job with decorating, so many little details on point and after our trip I am totally in the holiday spirit. Christmas Candyland at Hersheypark features a beautiful Noel light show which can be seen throughout the park – be sure to check that out when you visit – it’s timed to music and really well done. We also got to see Rudolph’s Skating Pond – which I was very surprised to see inside Hersheypark, but such a nice touch for holiday fun. The boys are too little for that, but that didn’t stop them from wanting to skate – maybe next year!

One of my favorite parts of Christmas at Hershey was getting to see Santa’s Reindeer Stables! We got to see Santa’s 9 reindeer live, which was a real treat. Check out the video for more on that – super cool! Aside from that you can also take part in a cookie workshop, enjoy a choral show and of course visit with Santa himself!

Also – Hot Chocolate, because it’s the best in Hersheypark! Yum!

Before going into Hersheypark we hit up Chocolate World to go on the Chocolate Ride, because it’s everyone’s favorite – and then after a few hours in the park, we made our way over to see Hershey Sweet Lights. This is a winter wonderland you get to drive through in you car – which was nice because it was so cold out that day. It was 2 miles and almost 600 illuminated, animated displays – they did a beautiful job – absolutely breathtaking. I wasn’t sure how into it the boys would be, but they LOVED IT. Especially at the end it was a whole section on fairy tales – the boys loved seeing their favorites!

I hope you will check out my video that I put together of our day at Hershey – you can definitely see how much fun we had! Let me know what you think and if you are going to be hitting up Hershey, PA this holiday season!

Here are a few of my favorite snaps of the day – Thanks again for a great day Hershey! We can’t wait to come back again soon!
